That would be way too unfair due to the tempo gain, also this cost 3 mana because rogues can deadly poison, blizz should definitely add more weapon buffs to rogue, after gvg they just kinda let them die...
Along with the Violet Illusionist rogues will have great single target removal but they don't need it, the healing and the AoE is still vital for rogues to be competitive...
Woah. I came into here thinking the fork was equipped, not put into your hand.
The card seemed like it was pushing a strong side of rogue, maybe this is the type of card they were talking about when they said they needed to nerf Blade Flurry so they could give rogue strong cards.
Unlike what everyone else seems to be saying, I think this card is quite decent as it is. It's basically a 3-mana, 3/2 that draws a card, which is above average in stats since card draw is worth a little less than 2-mana. Gnomish Experimenter does the same thing, but with a large chance of backfiring.
The card that you draw will always be a generic 3-mana, 3/2 weapon. That may not seem too great, especially when compared to the 2-mana Fiery War Axe, but keep in mind that's because Fiery War Axe is one of the overpowered, class-defining cards in the basic set. In Arena, any 3-mana, 3/2 weapon such as Eaglehorn Bow, King's Defender, Rallying Blade or Powermace is considered a priority pick, even without synergies, as the statline is considered good enough by itself.
I'm not sure if this card has many applications in constructed, however. Perhaps one could use this in a Reno Rogue deck that runs Sir Finley Mrrgglton, which will give you weapon option after you've replaced your hero power as well as a deathrattle target for Unearthed Raptor or N'zoth.
"I have a portal that rips through the Firelands, summoning a massive minion whilst simultaneously roasting yours alive. What did you get?" "A fork. A really good fork." *Rogue proceeds to still go 12-0*
I agree totally with you, unlike what many people think this card is really good it gives you a turn 3 into turn 4 play which most of the times will give you a lot of tempo gain when your opponent plays a 4-drop remove it and then still have a charge of a 5 attack weapon, along with the Violet Illusionist this card will be insane against control and midrange decks :) but that's about it, still lacking AoE...
People, please don't try to compare class cards and call out power creep when you see something of similar level, each class has their own set of tools that make blizzard balance the cards the way they're...
This card is really good, at worst is a 3 mana weapon that is 3/3 with no inmediate charge and there is no class that can ignore a 3/2 so its effect is gonna be most likely inmediate, that being said it also is proactive 3 drop that can be used on slow matches it feels really bad to drop a naked si7 on an empty board because you need the tempo, it has sinergies with othere rogue cards and nzoth himself, either way cards that fight for the board is what rogue needs for a tempo deck, a card that is versatile enough to fill a place in multiple rogue archetypes.
Both the weapon and the minion are overcosted by 1, but you do "draw a card" (1.5 mana) And you do have deathrattle synergy. So this is probably fine. I suspect it comes just a little short to be played because of other good cards, but rogue having a nearly endless supply of 3/2 weapons sounds potentially very strong.
I can imagine this card in standar now that an agresive minion based type of rogue is going to rise and become tier 2 or 1, because is just good value and the fork has 3 atack to trade good. this works perfectly good with husker and the new 1/1, may even put nzoth in the deck. for arena this card is good. it gives you tool's to figth for the board, and the weapon probable has place in turn 5.
If anything, this card suggest that Fiery war Axe might again might be OP, or at least that what blizzard might think. The warrior dominance is insane right now, so blizzard might consider nerfing fiery war axe, because this 3 mana 3/2 weapon is strictly worse.

I don't get blizzard. This would have been a decent and PLAYABLE card in constructed, if only the weapon was 2 mana. But no, they decided; this card won't be playable and released it.
You don't get why they didn't make the card overpowered?
now that Blade Flurry is in the shitter, what's your excuse for this crap, blizzard?

Nope.
TEMPO MAGE

3 mana 3/2 weapon is decent actually, since Eaglehorn Bowis useful even if you did not get any charges on it.
^You can have a weapon out at turn 3 by equipping the token fork weapon
I don't understand the problem here, this is a 3/2 for 3, which is fine, Deathrattle: add a Deadly Poison to hand, which is also fine.
Like, it's not a broken card or anything, but not every card needs to be Fiery War Axe.

Maybe you can play dread corsairs to make equipping this on turn 4 not feel too bad and use all of your mana.
