A healing engine for spell-based decks, and with solid stats for its cost. The only problem is its anti-synergy with Soulpriest, but it's perfectly costed as that goes; play one (4) or play the other. Plays nicer than Soulpriest with Holy Nova as well.
No but seriously this has a ton of synergy with Inner Fire. I can definitely see it being played, but not for the same reasons most other people are thinking.
I think this card is underrated. It has Premium Stat contribution and a semi taunt. I can see a spell Priest with this. It will most likely not be tier 1 but it will be better than anything priest has at the moment.
Keep in mind that bad cards get better the more synergie they have. Solely Mind Vision is a bad spell but if it buffs this, arcane giant, yogg, wid pyro it starts to look better. Same goes for cards like forbidden shaping.
Coin it out turn 3, double resurrect it turn 4... two 3/6 minions, all while healing for 9... This card is definitely a step in the right direction same with onyx priest. Just purify is so unbelievably bad, it made these cards look worse lol. Even with all that said. We still need more...proactive stuff for earlier turns.
Wow! So you expend a spell for a whopping 3 face heal vs aggro while most often you will remove just one minion (aggro decks have very few SWD targets, Auchenai/Circle hurts yourself for 3 or you just waste an amazing board clear circle for mere 3 hp facelift, SWP only removes small threats, flash heal wont deal with the board, smite is just too bad to be played, thoughtsteal is too slow while shaping doesn't fit into most control decks). Yeah, it will help mightily vs. aggro, dream on!
The two most common aggro decks at the moment are Dragon Warrior and Shaman. Against warrior, Death hits Grommash, Corruptor, Crusher, and Ragnaros if they run that. Against Shaman there is Flamewreathed, Thing From Below, and quite often something buffed by Flametongue.
If you think Circle of Healing is only good for clearing with Auchenai when you can run cards like Injured Blademaster (which you probably will with the new ress minion) and Northshire Cleric, you need to play more Priest.
Are you saying that Pain is bad vs. Aggro? Have you ever played Priest? Have you ever seen a Totem Golem, Flametongue Totem, Argent Horserider, Tuskarr Totemic, Tunnel Trogg, Alexstrasza's Champion, Frothing Berserker, Ravaging Ghoul or Twilight Guardian?
Smite is an excellent card, you should try it sometime, especially together with Wild Pyromancer.
And aside from all these comments, my argument was never that these spells or others were good vs aggro, I'm just pointing out how incorrect your comment was about Priest spells being "usually" 4+ mana.
And aside from that as well, as I've already said, the heal is a mostly an irrelevant effect until later in the game. When you're at turn 7-8 and are low on health, you can play this card + Shield or Smite + Pain or Death for a 6 heal. Or you can play this + Resurrect + something. Having that heal is very relevant when Priest normally runs no taunts, to protect against finishing burst. That is why Antique Healbot was in almost every single control and midrange deck.
How am I supposed to argue with someone who can't even read?
I never said anything about priest spells being 4+. I never said Circle of Healing is just for clearing. And there is a reason why SW:P is often left out - many times you'll just pain a small target is not a threat anyway, plus it's pretty slow since it only removes 1 minion while the board is usually flooded with other threats if you are up against aggro or zoo. Often times you'll play this pseudo taunt and have no spells or targets. Another situational card for a situational class. It's pretty bad, there's no way around it.
So why exactly are you arguing for the viability of Priest spells against aggro when I was simply listing <4 spells that are used in decks? Who is it that can't even read?

Actually now that I think about it. This card is a fantastic anti aggro tool. You can play real turtle like if u have coin. Ex~ play this turn 4. It dies. Turn 5 onyx bishop, get priest of the feast back. Coin flash heal. That's 11 damage healing... This card is a tad slow but interesting
It's actually a pretty good card, but it's a combo. I've made a Yogg deck with uses a lot of cheap spells to use both this ability and to fuel Yogg. Running flash heals, circle, PW:S, ditching ASP for EtS (which helps as it means you don't have a perm damage effect), etc etc.
The Card is decent but Priest itself is so flawed, even if you put cheap spells in your deck to make him work, you just quickly runs out of cards and you're done for. Besides Priest has a difficult time dealing with big boards of medium sized minions. I miss Lightbomb
So... I played a couple of games with this guy in a resurrect/nzoth deck and he was actually great. It was at rank 14 admittedly but I was playing against top tier decks. The nice thing is that you dont have to run justicar or so many other heal effects to stay alive, just double pain and death and other spells that do something to the board. I think onyx bishop would be good in this deck as well.
I played a few games with the card and it turns out that it works *REALLY* well against aggro decks. Contests the board against cheap creatures when played on T4 and has to be answered because of the heal.
In one game I gained 12 HP against a Zoolock, which was enough to stabilize and turn the tables.
I've been using Embrace the Shadows double Flash Heal and running 2 Darkshire Alchemist, also ragnaros. I beat 2 control warriors who had tank up, they just couldn't keep up against a few mid sized minions smashing them in the face every turn.
Tried this card in a spell heavy deck with yogg saron.. so far I didn't saw any good result of it..
well the deck I played has too much card draw and too little stuff it does though XD so in one game yogg just casted ALL the drawing effects and killed me.
Playing a very stable zoolock deck against this card means a guaranteed loss. I have been grinding zoolock with silverware golem and fist of jaraxxus, with great success, until priests caught on to this card... Even if it dies after 1 trigger, priest has a huge advantage against aggro. It is legitimately making me reconsider what deck to climb with. Do not underestimate Priest of the Feast.
I fatigued out a mid range hunter today because of this beauty. It probably healed me for a good 40 health before it was finally killed off XD and thats only the tip of the iceberg with this card. Im starting to think that even I underestimated how good it was.

Verdict: Very good.
combos with Purify
oh wait

It's solid IMO.
This card is such a late game drop though in order to make it effective with the spells. Poor Anduin, such a Combo class all the time...
The card is good, but is another good card doing the same thing the class have and not what the priest really need.
Is like giving the 5º hammer for someone have already 4 and don't have a single snail...
Underwhelming and too slow.

I don't think it's strong, but it's playable.
