3/6 is pretty much optimal for a reactive 4 drop like this one, a huge help against Zoo if you draw Holy Nova, but otherwise it's simply never going to do enough on it's own. Priest will be decent after this expansion, but honestly at this point it seems the only way to save them is to bring back Dark Cultist, or something similar
EDIT: also in arena a 3/6 is pretty ridiculous, so maybe priest will become a playable arena class, although you'll still want Velen's, if you manage to play this followed by Velen's Chosen you pretty much win the game
This is deceptively strong. It's got excellent stats for a 4-drop, it has pseudo taunt against aggro/tempo, and it can heal you like crazy later on if needed. I would definitely consider running this along with Shifting Shade as my 4-drops in a N'Zoth deck.
If you don't kill this card or the Priest the turn after this card comes down as an aggro deck you probably just lose. This card is a soft taunt that can act as a massive proactive heal in the late game. This card would fit perfectly into StrifeCro's Yogg Priest :)

Not bad... but... :(
Edit: Hey, at least he has a Funnel Cake reference!
Still far away from what priest needs. (We already have 4 drops. Lots of it)
Si vis pacem, para bellum.
Corvus oculum corvi non eruit.
My first thought: F#$^ Y#$ Blizzard
The statline is nice but Priest needs more than this.
Actually a fairly good card but it doesn't fix Priest's problem.

priest need a lot of spells to get value out of this...4 3/6 is okay for arena...but outside of this...sigh...
Auchenai Soulpriest, Holy Champion, Elise Starseeker, Shifting Shade, Hooded Acolyte
Yeah. 4 mana slot isn't looking crowded at all.
Not terrible but doesn't help Priest's problems much.
the class that most desperately needs good card get one ok card and 2 trash cards , i didn't know blizzard hires monkeys in their dev team
I'm sad now.
Maybe, just maybe, a part of a Yogg Priest deck. But is this what Priest needed to join the Meta and appear in Tournaments? No.

TM made it into constructed on occasion. Fibonacci ran it with success in a CW deck to legend

But still, not enough to make Priest viable.
cuz what priest needed was a 4 drop
