If at some point Druid gets something that spawns a lot of Beast tokens (not Treants), I think it might be worth a look. Experimented with it a bit, and certainly if you can get a board-wide +X/+X with spiders in play, they can be very helpful.
But, unbuffed, they just don't do anything. A 1/3 that has just a tag and no other special ability would be unplayable even for 1, so getting two of them for 2 more mana is even less so.
I've been seeing this being used in place of Eggnapper in several popular Aggro Druid builds, but is it really worth it considering that they're useless without buffs? Except against Mage, Eggnapper can put in work just by itself.
Play before evolve, it is the only situation I see any value in this card.
