I think druid fits better because the class can cheat mana spending cards, because of this AoL works so well before nerf, you put him before turn 7 and the cards you spend to speed up is compensate for the draw, The Curator is a better version of AoL if you build deck correctly.
Almost every class can make a good deck with the curator. Troggzor was strictly unplayable.
Literally have not seen him since realease unless I played it or it came out of something that would summon it.
So ? It's not in the meta right now. But the card isn't bad. Troggzor was bad, will be forever, there was no point adding the card in a deck.
The curator is in all my Reno decks (Hunter, Warrior, Warlock, Mage), and my Malygos combo (shaman, priest, rogue) decks.
Honestly Troggzor isn't that bad, yeah he's a win-more card, but he does have his moments... Now Mekgineer Thermaplugg was BAD. It was already a worse Kel'Thuzad and then it got nerfed with the Leper Gnome and people couldn't even get their dust back xD.
Also Curator in no way helps you if you fell behind. Yeah you get cards, but you just spent 7 mana. Not helpful.

Taunt?
Yep. The card is commonly played in Dragon Warrior, and sees play in Secret Hunter and Anyfin. The kid is trolling, or doesn't know what "taunt" means - in either case, he necro'd a thread for no reason. Presumably, the most over-hyped card of the set was Menagerie Warden - perhaps the troll necro'd that thread as well.

That's what I thought, and then I ran into him yesterday. Didn't really do much, but it was nice to see someone using him.
It put a 4/6 taunt on the board and drew some cards. That's not "not much."
Sounds like maybe you won the game anyway, but I imagine you'd have had much easier time of it if The Curator hadn't been played.
I did win the game. I had lethal next turn, in spite of his 4/6 with taunt. So, like I said, it didn't do much. It was still fun to see, though, enough that I decided to make my own Curator deck right after.

Technically Dr. Boom would have had the same effect that game so saying its a bad card based off of just that isn't really fair.
I feel like Curator is definitely most useful out of beast/murloc/dragon cards (compared to zoobot/menagerie magician). I am hoping to run into more decks that find a use for those others. Even 2/3 mana drops with menagerie can bump them up 2 mana spots in value (3/2 to a 5/4 for 2 mana to 4 mana). Only have seen a rogue run either (zoobot/menagerie)... kinda assumed they had curator in there too but didn't survive long enough to find out.

Right. Well, no. I did have to remove him before I could hit his face. I never said it was a bad card. If I had thought that I probably wouldn't have tried making my own deck with him. I'm still not sure I'd call it a great card, but I definitely think that people tend to undervalue him.

That would be me. I honestly find it easier to play Zoobot or Menagerie Magician, because trying to find a deck that works around Curator is a lot more cumbersome. Still kept him though, maybe something will pop up. When I used it, he was gone in 2 seconds, Doesn't help unless you are either even or a little ahead, kinda like Kel'Thuzad.

LOL This card became the new Troggzor the Earthinator
Overhyped and never seen, smh
