N'zoth rogue might want to run it . I am looking forward to that Trolden videos ,when it actually pull N'zoth probably a only minion with no deathrattle in the deck.
I think this is a very interesting card and I like the design. I don't think it's immediately, intuitively that strong because it will be very hard to control what you get, and a lot of decks have to have cards with battlecry effects, etc. to be effective. It's a nice card because it will push creativity in deck design. Probably stronger in Wild where there are a lot more deathrattles, although a 1/1Deathlord would suck.
Barnes is significantly better than Volazj. Not that that's saying much. I could actually imagine Barnes in Hunter since so many of their minions have Deathrattle and would be good as 1/1s. Getting Fiery Bat, Huge Toad, Infested Wolf, Kindly Grandmother or Savannah Highmane are all really good outcomes and really not that unlikely. And in the worst case its slightly worse than picking Mire Keeper with Slime.
Deathrattle decks should be good with it. With Herald, the minion(s) had to already be in play, so Barnes is better in that manner. Or use it for high end minions like Rag, Aviana, or Y'Sharrj

There are just too many battlecry minions you would have to not run to make him worth it.
Why? I would just run him with any deck that normally has 5+ deathrattles or effects. If you get a battlecry minion, who cares? A 3/4 and a 1/1 for 4 isn't that bad and getting a good result can be HUGE. It's not like you lose the minion he chooses, it stays in your deck.
You don't see people leaving out Tuskarr Totemic just because sometimes he summons a healing or searing totem. Cards like this with a small downside and high upside usually end up very very strong.
Good in many decks but got to wonder about the reliability. Best in decks full of passive effect minions or minions with deathrattle. Really good in the midrange n'zoth hunter decks.
Will probably be a sort of staple in N'Zoth decks, but pretty mediocre everywhere else. Probably won't see plays in aggro/tempo decks but we never know.
The thing I dislike about the card design is, that if it works well it might be game deciding on the back of a rng coinflip. (in minion based decks)

rng feast again. rag, ysera, maly good. if get low cost card, or battercry card useless

And I thought Volazj was bad
Uh this is potentially insane in combo decks running only malygos, emperor and this!

Excellent in a deathrattle deck.
Prophet Velen Priest anyone?
Yes but if u run a specific ok malygos it isn't the end of the world to draw malygos first u can still combo with malygos
t10 this card into Malygos>Frostbolt>Frostbolt>Ice Lance>Ice Lance for 34 damage.

Throwing this into my 30 legendaries deck for sure.
Pretty interesting, getting pretty much any Deathrattle off this is good, getting Rag or Ysera is retarded.

Bad bad bad bad bad
