This almost always going to be an alright buff card, since it requires one totem to play even, and you can combo with HP ofc. Also, BGH possibility? Since it costs 1 anyway? That's a low cost, unlike Blessing of Kings.

I'm just another one of those. You know, those who do things. Things that need to be done by those that do these things in order to do those things that don't do these things themselves. Has the word 'things' lost meaning to you already?
You are looking at this card wrong. This card isn't about maximizing the bonus with a totem flood. This card is meant to be played in a minion buff Shaman.
All of these are very interesting effects that other classes don't get, outside of spare parts and such, but what it never had was a straight stat buff! Primal Fusion fills that gap.
With up to 7 buff spells and 4 minions that get an extra boost from buffs (Djinni of Zephyrs, Fjola Lightbane, Eydis Darkbane, Dragonkin Sorcerer), this is now reaching borderline viability. Shaman also just got a few very beefy cards that made such a minion-based strategy much better. I'm not sure what the final deck list will look like, but it's worth experimenting.
At best this card will be 1 mana +7/+7 to a minion if your board is full of totems...but if your board is full of totems you don't have much power on the board and will get destroyed...
This is probably the card of the set for Shaman that is dust worthy...I can't see this played outside of arena that cards like these will likely see some play especially if its the best of the 3 random choices.
The thing about this is that it turns Flametongue Totem into a threatening 2-drop if you place it down before your opponent by itself on turn 2.
Because if they play a 3/2 minion, you can use your Hero Power and use Primal Fusion to turn the Flametongue Totem into a 2/5 minion with its abilities which can trade. That is definitely game winning.

Wait, what? See, (at least in wild) Shaman already has a suprising number of spells that buff your own minions: Ancestral Healing, Rockbiter Weapon, Windfury, Ancestral Spirit, Healing Wave. Plus Reincarnate.

With three totems out, it's an extra Rockbiter Weapon for your Al'Akir, the Windlord!
This card looks Meh.....BUT I can see it being one of those sneaky good cards that works great in a particular deck or two
