haha is fun to read the first answers to this thread and people saying this card was bad...
it's absolute NUTS, darkshire is awesome, if opponent doesn't kill it on the turn you play, it can easily become 4/5 or even 5/5, and it keeps growing.
This card is crazy. Anyone who says it's only "playable" probably has never really seen it in action. It's this close to being meta defining, Zoo partly owes its return to this card. It's very powerful and not easy to get rid off at 3 mana and 5 health, and if you don't kill it quickly the snowball effect is amazing. Even if you don't play Zoo, face this a few times higher than rank 15 and you'll know.
Similar issue to Bolvar Fordragon in that the base stats are pretty terrible. Unlike bolvar, you can play it early and potentially let it snowball on the board in a zoo deck. Could see play in Wild with imp-plosion. Not so sure about Standard mode...but warlock does have plenty of strong 1 and 2 drops (Flame Imp, Voidwalker, and Dark Peddler all come to mind) so this might see play?
As far as Arena is concerned, it could see a use if you're in dire need for a 3-drop and have plenty of early drops already. Especially since it's a common class card.
Looks like I was reeeeeally far off the mark with this prediction ._.
Clearly this with Forbidden Ritual (which I also didn't think would see much play) have brought Zoolock back with a vengeance.

Yep; it seems when you pump out so much stuff that it's pretty easy to get this gfuy out uncontested on curve; and then continue to pump out stuff to pump him which can trade to keep him covered, he's pretty absurd.
so funny how people said this card is "ok" or "average".
love to read card discussion threads a few week after release.
Agreed, it's funny how many people in the first 2 pages were saying just how bad this card is and now that people have played it/seen it played realize how powerful it truly is.
Trump is now a democrat and legend.

This is a very strong card in my zoo deck. Lots of synergy there
