The card seems good, but with the druid nerfs. I think the evaluation might be moot.
They killed druid.
They didnt kill Druid. They killed the concept of thinking Druid is only a Force of Nature+Savage Roar Class. Its time to think a bit out of the box.
Yes, but thinking outside the box now is selecting something else than druid. Like shaman.
That's your loss really, they are adding great new cards and I have success without SR+FR combo already so yeah... But have fun with shaman, they sure are looking strong.
Yeah it's flexible, but it also will always be understated. Opponent plays a Chillwind Yeti turn 4. You don't have a 4 drop but you have this "oh boy its perfect for the situation and fits the curve" You play a 4/4 that will immediately die for free to the opponents minion. You basically skipped a turn anyways. So the flexibility will be moot in a lot of situations, especially if you are going second.
This card is just a worse vanilla minion in any scenario.
Blizzard is really overestimating "flexibility". There's no point in choosing between 2 or more BAD options. You will always end up making a weaker play than your opponent
This card on turn 1 is a worse Murloc Tinyfin, that's how bad it is. And it does not become better at any stage of the game, always a weak play.
Worse version of Forbidden Shaping. One of the weakest cards in the set and will see absolutely NO play, not even in gimmick decks
People don't seem to understand this minion properly (or at least a few people). It's statline is equal to the mana used to cast it. using 5 mana yields a 5/5, 7 a 7/7, 9 a 9/9 etc. This is basic vanilla statline so in general below average compared to most other cards at the mana cost it is cast at, but the reason why this card is good, is that it fills every mana position. It isn't stuck at 4 mana every game you play it, or 2 or 3. you can play it when you have no other cards to play, and it will use up all of the mana you have (a positive) as otherwise it would be wasted. when you have 2 5 drops in hand on T3 and forbidden ancient, you can still contest the board with a 3/3. it is good because it is flexible, not because of it's statline
Isn't this be 1above vanilla stats cause 1/1 base line?
No, it shouldn't be. The Card will be played and its mana costs paid (which is one mana). Then the battlecry triggers and gives it +1/+1 for each mana left.
Guys, understand, I know its stats will always be "bad", but it's very flexible, for example, you are on turn 7 and you have nothing to play and you gain this, instead of gaining a 1/3 if it had no text, you gain a 7/7 that will help you a lot.
I like it, but I don't think someone is gonna play more than 1 of this in their decks.
It's a very flexible card If you buy a 8mana minion in turn 2 , it will be stacked on your hand until turn 6~8.
This card can be use anytime. It's a support card which never leaves you without a option. How many times you had to pass your turn because you drew a high mana minion card?
every time i read one of these threads where everyone is like "unplayable", "garbage", "crap" etc. (which, except for a select few cards, is all of them) I like to go back and read the original thread for Mysterious Challenger. "this would be good if the secrets didn't suck" "this is garbage" lolz.
Earth Shock ;)
He is the reason why Blizzard nerfs silence, but still wont see play....sad case
i like it ..it is flexible but may not get a spot in 30 slot
Not terrible, just not good.. certainly not good enough to see play beyond 3 weeks of launch.

Bad card overall. Might be good in Astral Communion decks or topdecking in arena.
seems a decent card
To the people saying this card is good, tell me, exactly when does it get good? Stop me any time.
I wouldn't even play a vanilla minion with those stats, let alone one that can be silenced.
It will probably be passable in arena. In standard though? Sadface

It's more like endless one in how it works. But i definitely see the similarities here in terms of flavor.
