I think the value is way too low for 5 mana. It loses spell damage from Velen's Chosen but gains 2 Health. Not worth 2 mana. Should've been 4. Might see play, but not as much as Velen's Chosen did, it relied a lot on its low mana cost.
Oh boy, only 2 more mana for 2 more health than velen's AND no spell power AND it's in a mana slot with drastically better options no matter what you're playing? SIGN ME UP!
At least it might not suck as bad in arena.

Utter trash. Priests needed ways to fight for early board presence. Velen's Chosen did that greatly, this card on 5 mana is far too late and doesn't even get the spellpower.
Shouldn't this be +4/+6 on a target minion? I mean buffs are generally 1 stat point off of just playing a vanilla minion. Like Blessing of Kings is 4 mana for 1 health off of a yeti body. I mean for 5 mana, giving at least +3 attack wouldn't be too OP, yeah?
Not going to lie, it made me laugh. As for the card the buff costs a little too much for not too much honestly. Yes priest has heal synergy which is some bonus points but for five mana? With Velen's chosen relegated to wild some decks might be running it but the two aren't comparable to each other as Velen came at an earlier point.
This bummed me out. If it had Spell Damage +1, I could have lived with the higher mana cost. But this? Guess Priest will have to play with no buffs for a while.
It's damn unfair, as well. Paladin got yet another good buff card. HELLO? Priests have buffs in WoW too!! What gives? Why are we stuck with gimmicky crap like Inner Fire?
This card is only underwhelming because Velen's Chosen was way too OP. This card is why Naxx and GVG had to go; the only way you would ever play this over Velens is if tentacles also gave taunt, charge, divine shield and 5 spell power.

Maybe, but even compared to other buff cards this falls short.
Really, I'd rather pack a Temple Enforcer that's +3 health and a 6/6 minion for only 1 mana more than this piece of refuse.

Probably good in C'Thun or Dragon Priest, since both can have minions surviving till next turn.
"Infinite" doen't mean "big" - it can be small and have no end.
