This nerf actually doesn't have that much impact; control hunter generally doesn't care all that much about the one mana increase, I don't think.
It makes match ups against Aggro and Zoo way worse, add in the loss of Scientist and those match ups are going to be heavily unfavoured.

I haven't played a lot of hunter, just rolling on a bit of empirical data here, but if any midrange/control hunter player could shed their light on this situation then that would be appreciated.

Card was barely playable because it does nothing when it's played and forces you to trade 2-1. Given hunters aweful card draw it cant afford to trade 2-1 very often. Its worse than execute because warriors have plenty of ways to damage a minion while getting other value. RIP midrange and control Hunter.
I was personally hoping for a Kill Command nerf, but this'll do. Makes it less appealing to decks that want to kill you by turn 6, but totally fine for everyone else.

Dude, Equality affects your own minions too, even the card's name suggests it...
This seems fair. We haven't seen that much of the card thus far, but I'd imagine that's mostly because Hunter haven't had any slow decks that can afford to put in cards that can't hit face. It has always been brutal with cards like Unleash and Powershot.

Against faster decks you need the tempo gain this card can give you against them, going from 0 to 1 mana is huge in those cases. You win by getting your larger minions on board uncontested ASAP. This card is hard to get value out of in those match ups at the best of times.
On top of that you have to play board clear/traps from hand, can't use it along side Unleash or Power Shot as soon and have less sticky minions to really get value with.
This nerf is comparable to the Soulfire nerf, it seems small but has a huge impact in a lot of situations.
I personally think that this got nerfed because of the owl nerf. Facehunters would have just started using hunters mark as the taunt removal. Nerfing that too means that hunters don't have a good way of dealing with taunts anymore.

This nerf should've been for Inervate. If any card has too much power at 0 mana, its that.
I've been calling for this nerf for years. It's basically a zero mana execute at zero mana.
Totally unnecessary. The card wasn't broken at all, and it's still playable... so, why?
