This is massively over the top, rogue doesn't have any top tier decks, this just pushes the class down further.
Guess you pay more attention to Tempostorm than actual professional tournaments, where there are a LOT of Rogue decks that do very, very well against your so-called "top tier" decks.

Huh? It costs 2 mana for hero power to equip a weapon, 1 mana for deadly poison, and 4 mana for bladeflurry. They both cost 7 mana. The difference is that bladeflurry does 3 damage, not 4, and it takes 2 cards to pull off, or 3 with prep. So, it is much, much worse than flamestrike, and flamestrike isn't even run that often anymore due to aggro.

A tournament meta is much different from a ladder meta.
Agreed! Worse nerf announced yet. Although Rogue has plenty potential with many of the Old Gods reveals. I don't mind the increase in cost, but the change to just minions is a little too heavy.

Treat it as swipe with 2 free Spell Power. 6 Damage to 1 target, 3 to all others.
The 1000th nail in rogue's coffin. I hope the old gods ressurect poor valeera with powerful rogue cards or she's going to completely vanish from the game (get it? vanish because she's a rogue)

Whoever designed Jade Idol and thought it was a good and healthy card for the game has clearly never played HS.
4 mana is too much this card is quite literally unplayable. 4 mana and face damage would've been great or 2/3 mana without face damage, but this is just pretty retarded.
So blizzard has finally confirmed they want hearthstone to be a game where you play minions on curve and make trades with your opponent until finally whoever got the best curve wins the game? Seems nice.
This change should allow blizzard to make better spell damage minions and better Rogue weapons in the future. This nerf will hurt Rogue in the short term though.
Oil Rogue has been my favourite deck since GvG launched and I actually don't mind this change. With oil Rogue you basically waited to get your combo and to kill your opponent in one turn. Even if you played like shit the whole game you could still win just because of the burst damage.
Removing burst damage is good thing. It makes matches a lot more interesting and more skill based IMO. ^^
The problem is you don't have any other reliable board clear. I don't think anyone cares about removing face damage, that's fine but the added mana cost makes rogue, a class that already plays from behind most of the early game, nearly useless until at least T5 for a reliable board clear (if you still have a dagger Charge).
I don't get it... 3 mana would have still been unexpected yet somewhat reasonable, but 4? I just don't understand where this is coming from, unless they play-tested Rogue with new cards so well (which always seems to be wrong).
Well, hopefully new Rogue will be playable beyond Flurry...

it's not underpowered and blade fury is op with extra spell damage
I think to balance the card they could of chosen to either increase the cost only or change the text. Having both is overkill...

What the flying fuck just happened!? We have FIVE unreleased Rogue cards, but unless those are FIVE amazing removal spells, Rogue is DEAD.
