Charge is an ability we’ve learned to use sparingly. Arcane Golem has been a staple in many aggressive and ‘one turn kill’ combo decks, and its drawback is rarely relevant. We’re addressing both issues by removing Charge and increasing Arcane Golem’s Health, while leaving its drawback. Arcane Golem will now be a 3 mana 4/4 with Battlecry: Give your opponent a Mana Crystal.
On the subject of "rarely relevant drawbacks", I wish they would also change Leeroy Jenkins, but I guess as a legendary he's allowed to be a little more ridiculous. At least otk combo decks will have to depend on a one-off legendary instead of a 2x golem...
Arcane Golem is receiving a card nerf!
well face hunter is dead
Thank you - I can play control now.
Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is a nightmare.
This was probably needed but now the card is pretty much unplayable.
Missing lethal since June 2015.
Oh Dancing Swords - this is how much you will be missed....
Not all aggro decks ran it, but now no one will run it. Its on the power level of demon fuse right now.
Destroyed.. well now I have to rely on Leeroy Jenkins for the 20 dmg combo renolock..
the card is dead.. but it was unfair anyway.
DEAD. haha. fuck combos.
Always Squelch.
"Every time you beat an aggro deck, you make the world a better place". Kripp 2015
I don't understand logic behind this nerf. I mean, who will want to play this over ogre brute?
It was good smorc card, but it was also very punishing if not played correctly. I didn't think it needed nerf.
I just came
I think out of all of the nerfs, this is the card that has pretty much been nerfed to the levels of warsong commander and starving buzzard.
Arcane Golem feat. Ogre Brute + Dancing Swords makes a good trio unplayable band...
i don't even think this card needs nerf...
S U P E R !!
That's a proper Blizzard nerf. 3 mana 4/4 and ramping your opponent. Noone will play it ever again.
It's okay though, I replaced it anyways by Argent Horserider in my face hunter.
XDDD
even Dancing Swords is better

Im glad they nerfed it, but they should've made it a 4/5 at least.
Looks like it'll be Leeroy in my Renolock from now on.
