I called that it would be Force and not Savage that would be getting the nerf. This allows Savage Roar to remain as a decent card in token decks, and Force of Nature isn't awful either. 5 mana for a 6/6. I'm pleasantly surprised that they were generous enough to lower the cost to fit the new ability rather than just nerfing it into oblivion.

While I have long hated losing to (or winning with) druid's combo, I still believe that FoN was not the problem, but Savage Roar. That being said, it's still a reasonable change given the general, anti-charge stance Blizzard has been taking.
It's 6/6 for 5 so I'd say pretty good value. It's weak to board clears and probably won't see much play, but at 5 mana it might actually get slotted into a token deck. Also, treant synergy might be a thing one day...
This card will never see play again with what they came out with so far i think druid is the weakest class. There are just to many aoe in standard this card is the shitty version of muster for battle and anyway on turn five as a druid you dont want to be playing this card you want to play drake or duid of the claw or innervate a 7 drop
If you look at it statwise it is still a powerful card. Better stats than Stand Against Darkness and equal stats to Silver Hand Knight, just distributed differently.
I would have prefered something like 6 mana "Summon 3 2/2 Treants with Taunt", but this nerf is also fine.
Eh; at 5 mana; summoning 3 2/2's isn't bad. Especially given Druid still has Savage Roar if you don't deal with them, and also has cards like Power of the Wild. It's less of a 'I win there's nothing you can about it lolololo' card and more of a card that is solid but the other player actually gets to react.
I LOVE YOU BLIZZARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This nerf just ruined deck archetype at all and _nobody_ will use this card ever.
I thought they will just make Savage Roar 4 mana cost. That would be decent nerf for druid faceplay just to make t9 combo, but the archetype would be still playable and you could use Force as a defensive spell.
Sad thing about all the tears about the druid combo is if you take the hero +2 damage out of the equation it only comes out to be 1 mana more than 2 Fireball and yet no tears about that has come up. All the combos that people have out there and blizzard keeps nerfing them to support people's claims that they are op. Oh well so is life in hearthstone!
Really happy with the nerf, but I'm surprised at the mana buff. Doesn't this card make Stand Against Darkness and Wisps of the old Gods look like even bigger trash than they already are? I mean, Wisps is definitely garbage. I guess there's Silver Hand synergy that Treants don't have (but they could in the future!)
In my eyes the most elegant way to nerf FoN+Savage Roar, i mean Combo might be dead, but the treants are still Tokens. so while there are still token druids out there, they probably will use this card though ;-)

Quite surprising, but this card will be better in Arena than it used to be.
Pretty decent actually. Its a 6/6 body basically spread out for only 5 mana. At least its not nerf to shit.

The curse has lifted.

Finally, the terror of the basic set has been defeated. And there was much rejoicing.
