This. Savage Roar is a ridiculous card. Glad the Force of Nature change hasn't completely killed the card or at least, it still looks like it may be playable, although I'm probably being too optimistic.
Combine FoN on turn 10 with Frostwolf Warlord and you've got at minimum 13 damage on board (3 2/2s plus a 7/7), not counting what might have survived till then -- that's four minions your opponent has to deal with unless it's a Paladin with an active Sacred Trial.
Nerf done right, the card is still kind of alive, but I will disenchant all nerfed cards, if I want them back I create them again. Its an epic and I have 2 of these, if savage roar were nerfed I wouldn't get this much dust lol.
As much as I like that this card is gone, I no longer see why this should be of epic rarity. It's solid in decks that care about having many minions (6/6 stats for 5), but I expect something more unique from an Epic slot.
Was Force of nature the problem? You'd want to trade if Savage roar was not the idea behind the card basically. Now this is basically a kick in the teeth to soul of the card, a defensive (Trading) or offensive (face) option. I even feel ball of spiders is better because that has both beast synergy and gives you cards. And yes i run Ball of Spiders and it has helped a lot win games.
So which is better the basic card Silver Hand Knight or the class card "which are suppose to be better since its in a class" Force of Nature. I understand why they had to nerf it this way 7 mana wouldn't work it will limit card design...
I completely agree. Force of nature could've also be played as removal or defensively, now it's neither. If they only nefed savage roar the combo would be dead and this card would still be viable.
This is exactly how I feel. I really liked the idea of having Force of Nature as a defensive card. Savage Roar is the problem card, but it hasn't been changed at all. With the Treants no longer being able to charge, the card can't be used defensively anymore.
I'm really disappointed by Blizzard's decision here. Obviously they have all the data and it should be presumed that they know what's best for their own game in terms of balancing, so we'll just have to wait and see how things work out in the end.
Eh, I don't like it. I feel like a savage roar nerf was needed but I really liked the versatility with of this card. At least it still can be used for token druid. Especially since savage roar wasn't nerfed.

The card is still playable and the flavour fits. Good nerf. Just sad they didnt do anything about Savage Roar...

Well if they nerfed Roar FoN would be total garbage so I guess this makes sense?

Sooooo happy that I got a golden one at the end of last season :). I'll take 1600 dust!

decent nerf, surprised FoN didn't get a slight change...

Card is still decent, goo job.
Oh my god yes yes yes! Greatest day for HS ever. Now we need a challenger nerf and all is good.
Well the combo is dead and the card isnt that bad either. 6/6 for 5 mana is okay.
Really like it, this stop the annoying combo but didn't took the card flavor.
This card got buffed.

Still strong card
So glad I held on to my gold copy for so long.
Well Druid got hit hard with the nerfs.....
