I'm so freaking glad I didn't preorder (silently giggling when thinking about the people I played against who had the cardback already).
Because preordering for 50 packs instead of 40 was a horrible mistake amirite? Also some people liked the card back, so preordering was pretty much win-win. Pretty sure it doesn't make anyone smarter or dumber for not spending money on what they considered a good deal ($50 is pretty minor for a card game honestly).
OT, I don't mind the design of the card but the cost seems so expensive that I'm not sure I see this card fitting into a deck easily, even in Token Druid. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it does end up being good though, the idea of 7 Wisps did make me chuckle.
It's not "a good deal", it's even utterly unreasonable looking at the cards released so far.
yay more wisps...instead of x5 its now x7!!!...just for 2 extra mana.
feels a little expensive for its effect not sure it is close to playable in standard...might be okay in arena...
not sure what you're referting to, but Dark Wispers is, as you can see, 6 mana for 5 wisps, this is 7 mana for 7 wisps. so i can't get why everybody hates this card. don't be so f*cking repulsive to every new card that is not boom or shredder niveau (which there should be none, or i'll cry)
wtf are you talking about? Cards doesn't need to be dr. Boom levels of good, hell the new warlock one drop is a pretty decent card, majority of the comments that i read were all optimist, but this?! we are forced to be optimist with trash like this?! cuz this IS bad.
I agree that maybe we should take it easy until all the cards are revealed. Something like this would make sense if they have a wisp boosting card. Though to be fair they probably should have just revealed that one and saved this for a reveal later.
As it stands....doesn't seem that useful for 7 mana.
So it could turn into a good card, or just be a waste.
Pathethic card. Why not play Cenarius for 2 mana more? Sure, with this you can fill your board, but Onyxia is better at that. It's also boring, a shame as it couldve been cool. Something like "Corrupt all friendly Wisps and summon 4 additional Corrupt Wisps". The corrupted version could deal damage as a deathrattle/at the start of your turn or maybe summon an undead Night Elf? Because wisps are the souls of regular night elves, right? Or they could have a card text that relates to each other, "Has +2/+1 for each other friendly Corrupted Wisp".

I'm just another one of those. You know, those who do things. Things that need to be done by those that do these things in order to do those things that don't do these things themselves. Has the word 'things' lost meaning to you already?
Shame on all of you. This is what you get for not voting for the teacup.
So, in case it it isn't obvious this card isn't very good. I'm not even sure if its better than Dark Wispers. Probably not. Regardless, both halves of this card are overcosted by 2 mana. As we see from Stand Against Darkness, 5 mana isn't worth 5 Wisps but I think 7 would have been fair for 5. Not good but acceptable. Then we have the other half of this card which is Everyfin is Awesome without the entire reason to run Everyfin is Awesome, i.e. the cost reduction ability. You could also compare it to Power of the Wild or Soul of the Forest so we can say "Give your minions +2/+2" is worth on the high end of 5 mana. Lets say 5.6-5.7. This card does NOT cost 5 mana so I doubt it will be played.
I also don't see any reason why you would run this card over Cenarius for 2 more mana. If you choose the buff you get an extra 5/9 and if you pick Treants, the 2 Treants and the 5/9 are usually going to be better than 7 Wisps.
And if you REALLY just want this card for the board of 1/1s and nothing else than you would rather just run Onyxia. This card could have been really cool if it was a 7 mana 3/3 with the same Choose One effect attached to it.
FeelsBadMan. I was hoping Wisp could see competitive play.

Keep trying to justify your waste of $50. Smart people will just craft the 5 playable cards this expansion with dust.
Seriously? There's far more than 5 playable cards. Besides, not every card is released with the intent of it being OMGWTFBROKEN right away. Some cards are going to see more play in fringe decks and there's nothing wrong with that. That's honestly probably the reason why they make so many "trash" epics. That way crafting costs aren't as bad unless you want to craft something specific for an odd deck. Besides, certain cards tend to shine later when their synergies are revealed in new releases.
I got no sympathy for druids.
This card is pun-ishment for all druids...
This space intentionally left blank.
Excuse me, we have been getting awesome stuff this expansion, and we shaman players god damn deserve it.
And I thought Dark Wispers was bad...
Its fangs are in your flesh before its hiss leaves your ears.
Golden Heroes: Druid -> Rogue -> Shaman -> Hunter -> Warlock
I see a world in wild.
2 Dark Wispers
2 Wisps of the Old Gods
2 Wobbling Runts
2 Living Roots
2 Haunted Creeper
2 Soul of the Forest
2 Savage Roar
How many board clears do you have? Never enough.
Here's hoping they don't Warsong Commander Savage Roar

Wisp expansion.
"The light shall burn you!" - heals face.
With this card I am almost positive savage roar is going to get gutted.
One more mana and one of those 1/1's become an 8/8
To those who voted "meta defining," what is it that I'm missing about this card?
Something witty.

Put this one in the round file.
Not much to say about this one.. Pretty bad.
No value
yay, more cancer

[Game] Name another card that has the same...
