A much cheaper Avenging Wrath that is like a Mad/Madder Bomber. Will be good in arena if you lack a board clear. Might see a small chance of constructed depending how the meta develops in standard.
As much as I hate rng factor sometimes.. I like this card. Even if it becomes a staple turn 3 play vs agro, it still has so many outcomes and molten interaction as well, that games will feel differently more so than if you just play demon wrath. Hearthstonewise... cool design.
Why would Warlock even need this card?? If you want to damage/kill few enemy minions why would you go full rng when you have card like Hellfire? I guess it's just another filler card in expansion.
Not only will it on average to more damage to enemy than self if you're behind board, but self damage is not as bad for a Warlock as other classes. Obvious Molten Giant synergy. Eggs in wild. Run Reno so it becomes irrelevant later. Even currently unplayable cards like Floating Watcher, Dreadsteed, or even Gurubashi could come back.
I love cards like this where the value isn't obvious but has real possibility for creative deck building.

OK this is complete trash.
You can't just linearly increase the stats.... If that was so a 10 mana Arcane Missiles should be doing 30 damage to opponents. 10 mana deal 30 would be a bit OP don't you think...
Jesus people, I frigging hate that "Molten Giant synergy" non-sense. It has absolutely NO synergy with it. That's like saying "the enemy having minions that are hitting my face is molten giant synergy" or "facing a face hunter is molten giant synergy". It's NOT. Why don't you play Pit Lord if you want the so highly praised molten giant synergy? Because it's unreliable during the late game because it's too much damage. The hero power can be used to carefully and CONTROLLABLE tap into molten range, while getting a BENEFIT out of it, you don't need a random card that may or may not deal 1-9 damage to your face for that, that actually wastes the cards effect, otherwise you could just Darkbomb your face, couldn't you? So stop with that inane reasoning.
And popping your own eggs with this is NOT value. You just wasted 2 damage from this effect. Gz. Eggs are a thing because you buff them and trade effectively 1 for 2 or even 3, while having a board clear deterrence.

This card is fairly weak. If the enemy only has a 3/4 on the board, you can expect to deal 3 damage to it and the rest hits each player's face.
Now, let's say your opponent played a 3/2 on turn 2 and a Muster for Battle on turn 3. You didn't play any minions. There are 6 characters on the battlefield, so you can expect each character to be hit for 1.5 damage. Demonwrath doesn't have the crazy RNG and it also deals 2 damage to everything. Basically, this card is outclassed and thus bad and will not see play.
I can only see a possible use for this card in Reno decks, which traditionally sacrifice individual card strength for that one big impactful turn in which you play Reno Jackson.

I'm not hot on random effect cards, but for the most part I like this and can see it being viable in quite a few decks, particularly stuff like Handlock/Renolock.
This card is a great finisher as long as you have more life then your opponent. Can be a great way to clear or get board back. I see potential in this for both Zoo and Renolock. Do the people who say this card is bad. You just need to play it at the right time.

I don't hate it. Knowing that Yogg could cast this from my Forgotten Torch, Bash, etc makes me a bit nervous, though :/
Could be very good or 9 dmg to yo face, don't like the rng factor
Seems like it would work well against Zoo, token, or swarm decks.

There's also an unseen synergy everybody is forgetting: Jeweled Scarab enabler.
Good idea, more help to the face hunter: suicide warlocks

Cards like these are good for spell heavy deck where you don't expect to have much board presence in terms of actual minions.
Plus, Explosive Sheep synergy is real.
