I can see it working in very heavy control decks, but seeing that mostly Warrior runs those and they have Varian, this might not see too much play. Many important minions you don't want to play right away anyway, so it's really a bit iffy. You probably won't have to worry about the effect triggering twice, since it's either removed or you won the game due to the 10 attack anyway.
When you look at N'Zoth, which can flood the board potentially, with 0 fatigue penalty(and they are possibly sticky too, making boardclears worse) and then look at this, this card seems very mediocre. Meh...
Crap card imo. No one uses Varian who can get you 3 creatures and this guy needs 3 turns to match taht and there is no way he lives 3 turns because either youll have won already or he gets removed.
Its a fun card for sure but I dont see it being competitive since at turn 10 the game is already sealed if you play any huge minion and they cant remove it. So his effect is kinda meaningless.
Varian is not played because it doesn't suit any current Warrior archetype, but this can work wonders in different decks, such as Astral Druid (also the flavor), a new type of Warlock (midrangey, not zoo) and Shaman.
Seems like a worse varian unless they really nerf BGH hardcore. We all know it will be removed first round, so it basically reads "Play a random creature from your deck, your opponent discards a removal card", and for 10 mana that is definitely lackluster.
Except this has +3/+3 over varian, and has a less risky effect, and offers way more long term value. It's better than Varian in every way. Good enough to see constructed play ? I don't know. Also it's a neutral, varian isn't, so it has more synergy by default.
To all those who rushed to conclusions and didn't even have the audacity to read a card long enough to understand a wording, (mostly because most Cardstone players have never touched a card game before), where do you see the word random in this card? That ought to give you some food for thought.
People saying this is a good card: Your arguments are exactly the same as when Varian was announcend. And that didn't turn out to be that great

Its a 10/10 on turn ten.. long term value doesnt matter bcause the game is over. So many people keep bringing up his value over time like the game is gonna last 6 more turns with a 10/10 on the board. At that point you want immediate value. not long term. Which is why Varian is better, hes gives more immediate value.
Looks like he might be the worst of all 4 old gods
play two minions with 10 mana one of them have 10/10 this is just cheat !!
FOR THE HORDE
Dunno about this one, but imagine...
Varian Wrynn into this... in a world without Lightbomb...

Ancestor's Call

I really like the design! ....but the card..meh :)

Pretty good for Astral Communion decks, but seems way too random for competitive play. I may eat those words later
Renounce Darkness
Also, this + Gang Up seems epic. Too bad end of turn effects probably won't trigger for summoned minions that turn.

If we can choose a minion (no "random" text provided), it will be not so bad.
I'm getting hyped... because
NEXT OLD GOD IS YOGG-SARON!
This card is okay though, I guess.
