This should have been a neutral 2/2 creature for 4 that is destroying all other 2/x or less creatures. Instead now classes that have aoe clears are getting more aoe clears, classes that have strong board presence are getting stronger board presence.
Its the same story all over again, they don't want a 4/2 creature than kills a 10 mana minion but are alright with a 2/4 creature that eats a 10 mana worth of secrets and is getting fat in the process. All i have seen so far is the same shit just from a different asshole.
This card is so cool! We get a new Shadow word with a cool name, it kills every small minion including your own XD.
This card is definitely NOT a turn 4 spell, like other people have mentioned, this card does not gain enough value by destroying what the opponent can summon by turn 4.
To me it sounds like a utility removal spell for the later stages of the game against board floods. Totems, Zoolock, Recruits, Murlocs, Face Hunter. My favorite Priest card so far. The legendary minion doesn't look as fun as this card, since that card is just a gimmick doubler. I wonder what the animation will be.
While It looks really good at first, it has a lot of problems. First of all it can destroy all your high health low damage minions you get in priest. Secondly, it is likely worse than deal two damage to all minions, even in the two many slot many minions have over 2 attack. So the question is, is this better than holy nova or even excavate?
Was wondering for a moment, is this card going to be a weapon? After Tentacles for Arms is revealed to be a weapon, everything look like a potential weapon card.
The card art shows a bunch of horrified murlocs, but recent boards full of murlocs have a lot more than 2 attack...
A very situation card. It doesn't cycle (unlike Mass Dispel). A dead draw in most situations. The current meta has many 3+ attack minions in zoo style decks. Many of the primary targets of this card are leaving standard. Compare this, unfavourably, to Hellfire or Shadowflame. Needs synergy.
Yea I don't know about this card. For the people saying works with confuse, how many 2 health minions are there worth using confuse on? I mean I guess you could trade into it but seems like a lot to make this work.
In a Meta like right now where Minibot, Imp Gang Boss, and Deathlord are very strong 2 attack minions, this is great. But they are all rotating out in standard.

Control Priest dont have a lot of minions and likely only curator and cleric will be affected.

Decent card in constructed and arena too.
good clear as long as you don't have any of your low drops.
Shadow Word: Concede
I think Shadow Madness is more effective most of the time. I don't see this card working out...
...Unless they make a card that sets all minions' attack to 2 at 4 mana or less, OR a card that sets all ENEMY minions attack to 2 for exactly 6 mana.
I was just using sylvanas as an example. It makes the card more versatile than just an aggro stopper.
Now we just need a corrupted Shrinkmeister:
Battlecry: Every minion's attack becomes 1 this turn.

Bad card, most decks have few low atack minions, if you draw this late it wont ever be usefull. Too situational.
Boards clears getting no love, Doom! Sucks too. It doesnt matter that much really as sticky minions are gone.

Hello Duelyst game
**sigh**
The way of Hearthstone:
See a removal card, proclaim it's the worst thing ever.
See it in action, realize how wrong everyone was (most of the time).
This space intentionally left blank.

I'd rather use Shadow Madness or Excavated Evil
it just does't do enough especially if knife juggler remains at 3 attack.
Shadow Word: Pain is also a great control tool to prevent board build up. So why?
Good against stupid aggro decks, like it!

It's funny how they're making so many anti-aggro cards but aggro decks are losing a lot of cards when standard comes out.
