How manny expansions is going to take for them to learn that a 8 mana minion without an immediate effect is pretty much unplayable? Not only that but you need to get to attack and kill a minion to get something out of this.

They design trash cards intentionally, otherwise "good" cards wouldn't be, well considered to be "good". I feel they can try at least a bit harder tho...
Almost always worse than Gruul, given that Gruul gets +2+2 by the start of your turn regardless. The only possible value I can see is by giving it Windfury. Honestly, this is pathetic.

Because they don't want it to be that way. It's severely limiting if the game is always such a frantic pace that every big minion has to be tied to an unstoppable effect. I can appreciate wanting the game to be a little slower, where a big minion can represent a threat on its own (it's why I'm such a big fan of Giant Sand Worm).
That said, this card is still pretty horrible unless that "attack and kill" is mistranslated and it should be "attacks or kills."
I think some Legendary minions only exist to be fodder for stuff like Sneeds, Paltress, or Golden Monkey.
Also, I think Boogeymonster is an original character, because I can find no reference to him in WoW anywhere (Although there is a Boogyemonster in Everquest. Maybe that's the joke, they made a Everquest NPC and made them intentionally terrible).

This thing could easily cost 7 mana and it won't be even closer to the level of broken that Dr.Boom was, and they didn't seem to have problems with that card.Especially considering that we need new minions to fill the 7 mana slot, not that even then this thing would be auto include.
It's like they don't even try to make a lot of the cards playable or can't look back at the cards/mechanics that work and the one that don't and lean something from it.

I just have an issue with a wasted legendary slot. It feels lazy. It's not unique, powerful, or fun. It's nothing you would build a deck around, even for shits and giggles. I wouldn't have minded this at all if it where anything but a legendary. It's Nessingway level legendary tier, and that's bad.
For people saying that this is worse than gruul. Think again. This cannot be BGHed before it does something. Therefor it is automatically, by default, better than gruul.
