Blizz logic: Let's pump a ton of rouge pirate cards, and when that doesn't work, let's just ignore the fact that there already are a lot of cards in the rogue class that could synergize with this and let's make it a warrior card! GENIUS!
Interresting in Arena yes, but here people seems to think that it's viable in constructed. Sorry, but would you rather equip a 3/2 or a 1/3?
Here people seem to misunderstand this card with the insane value of Muster for Battle. But Warrior is no Paladin. Paladin has a viable weapon first with turn 4 with Truesilver Champion. Warrior has Fiery War Axe. And Paladin has the value of their 1/1 minions. That isn't the case for Warrior. A paladin can deal easier with a 3/2 because he can trade in one of his 1/1 and then kill it off with Light's Justice.
It's not a bad card, but the value is questionable. In theory the value is insane, but in reality there's not really a space in there in decks that exists now, and as far as i see it it's also no space for it in C'thun decks. But who know, maybe there's a deck in the future that makes it worthwhile. Or maybe there's a new card that makes it nice to have.
1 case where the value of this card is quite interresting is Divine Shield-Minions, Warrior didn't have an easy way to deal with them except whirlwind and here you want the whirlwind rather for patron. If Divine Shield becomes too dominant, then Warrior finally have a way to counter it, even if they need to attack them with the face.
The guy was asking if anyone knew what a Rusty Hook was because a Rusty Hook is when you put your index finger in someone's ass and then make a hook with said finger, put that finger in their mouth, and get a nice grip on their cheek.

'There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact'
I play pirate warrior in every tavern brawl that lets you build a deck. It's really fun and is often takes people by surprise. That being said, why do we finally get a warrior pirate when Ship's Cannon is cycling out? Why Blizzard, why?!?!?!?
what a great arena card. finally warrior arena might be getting somehow better. for constructed this is not worth it except if the whole ladder is facehunter.
Sadly, Upgrade! doesn't reach the magical 3 attack (kill any 2 drop that people actually use). I was thinking more along the lines of Deadly Poison. The other cards are too slow for early game tempo (as this card appears to be).
Not necessarily. We'll see (and I also forgot that you can combo it with Heroic Strike)

I don't see the point in it, when Fiery War Axe is still a staple in warrior and much better.
1, You will not always have Fiery War Axe in your staring hand and this is decent replacement for early game control
2, In arena you often doesn't have Fiery War Axe in your deck and then this card is HUGE (since it will have bonus chance to appear) since you have worst hero power in game and smashing minions with weapon give it some value
Of course, this is good in arena, but that's another story. I was talking constructed, and I still think having just fiery war axe in the deck is better, but I could be wrong, we'll see.
This card doesn't seem real. its not a terrible card stat wise but as far as making sense with the lore it doesn't seem to make any sense. Why would an old god have a first mate?
While not a super-powerful card, it's the first Warrior weapon with more than 2 charges, meaning it might actually be worthwhile to play Upgrade! or Captain Greenskin if other synergy arises!

Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
Rusty Hook to me immediately suggests some sort of Pirate synergy. That'd be great - a weapon that synchronises with a tribe like Powermace for Shaman.
Having said that I am going to loathe this idea if there is a paladin murloc related weapon
Great with Reno Jackson. When you only have one Fiery War Axe in your deck, this fills a similar role. It's worth remembering that the problem with Light's Justice isn't that a 1/4 weapon isn't useful. It clearly is. The problem is that it takes a deck slot. This card provides a good deal more tempo, due to the body. I think it'll be worthwhile.
Early game, it'll completely wreck any sort of 2/1 into 3/2 opening (like Leper Gnome into Knife Juggler, even though those cards are likely to be nerfed, etc etc). Later game, it's a great proactive curve filler. Warriors don't really have much else to play in a Ysera/Alex turn.

Its kind of infuriating that this isnt a rogue card.

This is obviously a Death's Bite replacement. Kappa.

Time is money, friend.
Another N'Zoth named card with 1/1 statline.
Seems like it was N'Zoth's idea for the miniature warfare tavern brawl.
"After a thousand battles, one only sees death"
Anyone consider Win Axe might be getting a nerf? Might be the reasoning behind this card...
