Need to see testing if it does +1 Damage by Spelldamage or 1+1 Damage by Spell Damage for each Mana (that would explain why it only can target Minions and not Face even if there is a 10 Mana 10 Damage Face Mage Spell). I think it is second, but if it is the first, the Card would be preeeetty baaad..

I just don't see any situation where this card is good... Honestly, flexibility is pointless if it is just mediocre in every situation. Mage has so much good removal and cards that eat up deck slots, I doubt a card like this could find room in a constructed deck.
If this card was able to hit face, it would be so strong...
I can see be played, but in very specific decks. I love the idea (spend all your mana to do some effect) and now I want to see what will be the spells for other classes (please make a good one for rogue)
Am I the only one that thinks 0 mana spells are OP by themselves for Mages?
This is basically a guaranteed extra fireball from Antonidas, or a way to end that Flamewaker combo.
But it's not really 0 mana
Even so, you can use this for 0 mana, after having used all your mana to get the spell proc effects but not the actual effects.
True, but there's no point in running a card that will be dead most of the time just for the prospect of a free fireball with archmage.
Why would it be dead most of the time? This if one of the most flexible removals in the game, you can use it on t2 to remove a juggler, or a later turn to remove something bigger. And since its a 0 mana card you also have the option to proc Flamewaker, Archmage Antonidas, or even Violet Teacher if the situation demands it.
I know its a mage spell but im really interested to know how this works with the rogue spell preparation. In particular in case the rogues forbidden is also a spell (it probably wont be)
also how do forbiddens work with innervate?
(honestly this might fortell a slight innervate nerf, then druid could have a forbidden minion that is X/X+1 without being super good combined with innervate. either restore 2 mana or your next card costs 2 less maybe.)
Also I think people are really undervalueing the flexibility of this card as removal, as a tempo tool its obviously poor, but in a control deck this can remove any minion provided your willing to commit enough mana, so this can be a nice flexible removal. against aggro decks/face hunter you can use it cheaply on a 1-2 health minion, against control you can save it to take down a fattie like ragnaros late game.
