You can trade your old cards and sell them in Magic... That makes it so much easier to stay in the game, since it is an actual hobby besides being a game
You can dust your old cards and use them for new ones in Hearthstone. When a card leaves standard in Magic, its price drops significantly (since most new cards aren't used in Modern or older formats, with the exception of the new OP Eldrazi cards), so you can compare it to dusting Wild cards.
Muster was OP @ 3 mana and you all know it. You can't even be mad at this shit. This is what muster SHOULD have been, and i actually really like paladin.
Warrior has a similar (way worse) card for 4 mana. With just about zero synergy.
What?. A warrior card similar to Stand Against Darkness for 4 mana?. What are you talking about?.
Edit: Are you talking about Arathi Weaponsmith being similar to Muster for Battle maybe? If that is the case, the only thing those cards have in common is giving your hero a weapon, that is all, comparing them seems pointless and actually the 2/2 weapon has sinergy with a lot of cards.
Impossible to fully predict the good or bad cards before the whole thing is out and we see how they interact.
But....this looks pretty garbage. Whatever people thought about Muster for Battle, this is a horrific replacement. I get trying not to make OP cards, but making cards that are so weak that no one would use them is no better. Plus what's the point? Unless (and they may) release a card to replace Quartermaster....a bunch of tokens for 5 mana isn't that useful.
In the end, who knows. There are possible ways you could make this work. No telling if it's just a solid card for certain decks or just utter trash. We'll see.
This card suuuucks unless they make a lot more stuff that buffs both attack *and* health, or unless AOE damage is no longer a big thing (which seems unlikely).
I love people complaining without knowing the whole picture. Remember Muster for Battle and then Intendant few days later ? ...
Today : Omg this card is so bad !
In Few Days : Another Paladin card (Your Silver Hand Recruits are immune) OMG SO GOOD ! SO OP !
Call it.
I may be wrong, but what I said ? You can't judge a card without knowing everything about an expansion. Steward of Darkshire now revealed makes this card better... I dont know if it will be as good as Intendant + Muster combo, probably not, but still !
This card is terrible not to mention the new tentacle card counters this pretty hard.
well...
If evolution is outlawed, only outlaws will evolve.
