Been played wild for years, i now escape to the standard. A world without defile, plague, scream, voidlord seems very relieving.
And i agree wild is fun. But for me the problem is , the cards that i find interesting are too slow or mediocre/fair power level and there isnt any other modes that i can use them, so it is frusturating also.
I haven't played much wild since the new expansion, but in my experience wild is a lot of fun in ranks 20-15, but once you go below that you start to see more and more of a select few broken decks. Rank 15 and 14 can also still be fun however (especially since the amount of stars required to get there was lowered). I love to play homebrew or meme decks in wild so I hardly ever reach rank 10 or below, but I prefer it that way.
Big Priest, Even Shaman, Pirate Rogue, Odd Paladin - this is what I faced 27/37 games to Legend...
So much fun... I was with Burn Shaman and every game was mulligan like mad for Devolve, Hex in case 1,2 and get it to turn 4 or get LS,Maelstorm to turn 4.
I won't argue that Rank 25 to Rank 10 are very funny though if you play it non exclusive and your rank has dropped.
Amen brother! Wild is awesome and it gets better and better with age. The people who complain about Wild probably never even play Wild. The variety of decks you find is really good, especially in ranks 15-5, and every archetype has several different builds so even if you face several Odd Pallies in a row it's very likely that they'll each be slightly different.
I really enjoy the format and play it quite often. Probably play Wild more than Standard but, like most people, I've been mostly playing Stadard since RoS launched.
Wild is definitely more fun than people think, despite its BIG problems (pun intended).
YET it is also not as fun as it could be, and BY FAR, because of a bunch of broken decks.
Wild holds a huge variety of potentially viable decks, many of which are pushed out of the ranked meta by the obnoxious clock of some broken synergies/combos, made reliable at way too early stages of the game.
Maybe this is why they keep and keep introducing those broken stuff? Would Wild be more fun than Standard entirely, without broken cards?
I just spent 17k dust in mostly wild cards i was missing been playing wild since it started but only for real since kft its a lot of fun , and to counter priest kingsbane was one of the things i was missing, sap and gg.

Yeah wild in concept is great, but the cards I want to play with don't make the cut competitively above like, rank 10. Too much mana cheating, which isn't fun, it's just broken and lame.
I want a third ladder where they give us rotating sets, like arena currently is.
Wild is fun. I started playing Wild after the rotation. My Wild collection was big enough to play at that point. I'm not playing ranked mode. Its fun to play cards and decks you cant in Standard.
I’ll never understand people who think that the community should not care how the game is played, or should not create their own culture of play with rules that go beyond the ones hard coded into the game.
Wild is fun until rank 5, same as standard. After that both become a playground for diehards who still don’t have the legend card back, or live under the illusion that they can make it to top legend and be ”pros”. I’ve got mine, so I just play until five in both modes each month and then goof around with deck concepts, finishing quests. Actually, to correct myself, rank 5 is also where the fun is at;)

If you have a decent collection you can play with any class.
Right now I enjoy a lot playing a quest Reno mage, have so many cards in Wild now the highlander requirement is nothing.
People should give Wild a chance, it is awesome right now.
If anything need to change is Big Priest and that is it.

Ress Priest is fun yes.
Kappa

EU Rank 5 to Legend MUCH FUN YES!

Burn shaman being the Malygos Ancestor’s Call version? If so, I would love to see your list.

Missing lethal since June 2015.

It's the only explanation i can give atm...

I have hardly ever played Wild so I thought i'd jump in this weekend for a blast.
I made Big Priest and climbed from rank 25 to rank 12 with one loss.
I'm having a blast but I'm guessing by all the roping i'm facing that my opponents hate me.
Unbowed. Unbent. Unbroken.
Yep, they definitely hate you.
I can tell you the amount of tilt you generate is much bigger than the amount of fun you get.
Not entirely your fault, but you are not contributing to the fun in Wild. You're just jerking around.
Awful example to support the OP's point. ;)
Imagine having a blast while playing a deck as one-dimensional as big priest.
I not play Wild for a long time then restart now from rank 17 to 11, looks like is the fun part before see Big Priests all the way.

I've never played it before and over the past few days I've been playing it and having fun... Sorry that blows your mind ;)
Some of the interactions are totally busted, especially with Vargoth so it's been enjoyable to try them out!

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
Thanks for turning wild into the cesspool that it is. Much appreciated :)
I’ll never understand people blaming other people for playing cards that are in the game.
Be mad a blizzard or don't fucking play it
you either like the game or don’t.
Like game - play game
no like game - no play game
