Anyone here feels obliterated by big priests at every single rank? Every other game I play against one. Tried aggresive Mech Mage (I can only beat with a timed Loatheb), midrange-y Patron Warrior, Freeze Mage (I think this is better than the others listed here) and DMH N'zoth Warrior (sometimes I steal one of their threats with Sylv), nothing works. I don't want to sound salty or something, I generally play for fun ( these are the main archetypes I play in wild), but you all think resurrecting the same Obsidian Statue/Ragnaros/Lich King 6 times is healthy? There are some greedy ones with Kel'thuzad, Chromaggus and Ysera, which are generally easier to beat. Core decklist feels so oppressive though. It just destroys my enjoyment in wild, even though I am a huge fan of some old cards and archetypes.
It is not even the Barnes problem, its just all these resurrect effects.
For me it comes down to the Barnes problem. The deck is too slow without him but he gives it momentum at 4 mana and a serious highroll chance. The deck itself can be countered. When i loose it´s mostly against barnes that rolled into Ysari. Of course if you run into multiple revieve and eternal servitude after killing the barnes token any pull can obliterate you but that much rarer for me.
Shure if you play a slow deck without disruptions and he can prepare the spellstones you loose ....
I dislike highroll i win cards as many do. That alienates gameplay and skill. There is a huge difference between a 10 mana overhelming card like guldan or N´zoth or a 4 mana i win 90% of games i draw it card.
These threads wouldnt be necasery if team 5 would actually adres the issue of Barnes instead of hiding behind: "well some people really like playing these kind of decks"
You are complaining about not being able to beat a tier 1 deck with mech mage, patron Warrior, freeze mage and dead mans hand Warrior? Why dont you start with playing some actual good decks and see how you do then? I can recommend mech hunter, aggro secret mage, kingsbane pirate Rogue or an even shaman list teched against control (with Hex and windfury). All have good matchups against big priest
I really dont onderstand why people hide behind the argument of ''just wanna have fun" when pointed out that they play bad homebrew decks. Is it because you feel the need to stand out and get recognision for doing your own thing? You can, but if you want to be succesfull that way you have to be a good player first, and you get good by aquiring the gathered collective wisdom generated by the community. So start playing the meta decks and become good, then tweak the meta decks to your own liking, and only then start making your own decks

If I lose to it, its usually a Barnes highroll.
Another 1000st big Priest thread. Close plx
This threads will come up as long as the barnes token can be resurected as the copied minion ...

Yes, there are many other threads about this. Locked.
