After the nerfs, I've encountered a lot of quest mages around rank 4-5. Did the nerfs open up for these, or is it just coincidence?
Also, I checked usernames, and they were all piloted by different players, so it's not a case of queueing against the same player.
Odd mage and BSM are better options, they have much better tools to survive or pressure than a desesperate deck trying draw all the cards to mount Exodia.

Definitely not on the rise, it is still a horrible deck. But people tried playing it with Banana Buffoon and the deck still sucks.
