MVPs were, of course, the 2 Spikeridged Steeds, the 3 Truesilver Champions, and the 3 Dinosizes. As long as I had a board, I was basically able to buff my dudes to massive levels pretty much consistently. I even had minor handbuff synergies with some of my cards. One of my losses, however, was to a mage with Spellbender active... and I only had buff cards in hand. He had lethal if I didn't play it (not to mention he also had a Pyroblast in hand for good measure), so I had to gamble there.
Great deck. Good early game, weapons, buffs and comboes, bunch of legendaries. Lost 1 game against a rogue at 5-0 and against a warrior at 11-1. Faced the same warrior in a rematch next game and got the 12 wins.
My very first 12 wins... Control mage... terrible curve... a lot of 2 drops and 6 drops and a hole in between... got lucky with draws though, except couple of wins where I coined out Mana Wraith into empty board to screw up my opponents curve when I didn't have good plays anyway. Didn't have many randomness, but had a lot of board clears...
What really helped is that I had a lot of hard meteors and blizzards and a Flamestrike with polymorph as a backup... Basically after turn 6 my opponents rarely had any board... Well and Pyroblast did help me finish game quite a few times... 11th win was literally I'm at 1 health, my opponent at 10 and I have a Pyroblast in hand since long time ago... Got lucky with Firelands couple of times... Glyph helped me only like 3 times...
P.S. Validated Doomsayer was good. Definitely better 5 drop than Bittertide Hydra (which was recommended by Hearth Arena) as I played him into bunch of small minions couple of times, while with hydra it would backfire big time... (not to mention that Validated doomsayer hard countered Aldor once)
Very pleasantly surprised that this deck got to 12, even though I only got one copy of most of the broken mage cards (if at all). Special mention goes to Cabalist's Tome for consistently pulling wins out of a hat that I wouldn't have normally gotten.
First time 12 wins with rogue (6th ever), and surprise surprise, no vilespin slayer. MVP Reckless Rocketeer, i used it as a finisher many many times. Cherry on top: Onyxia as reward ^^ (first time ever i get a legendary as reward). I just notice now: no epics or legendaries O_O.
My first 12-0, playing elemental mage. Despite some really bad minions(secret synergies with no secrets) dusk boar, nightblade, etc, I managed to get 12 wins because of the 9 elementals. Used almost every elemental every game for it's full potential. Fireball and pyroblast both gave reach to finish up games where I ran out of steam(4 pyro lethals). Took me less than 90 minutes to play all 12 games.
I'm definetely getting more consistent in arena, i'm almost always going infinity (7 or above, 5 when goes badly), and second 12 wins in 3 days. MVP the 2 blazecallers (i had to be extra careful chosing when to play firyfly and the tokens) and the 2 dinosize.
2nd 12-win run overall and 1st with Rogue. MVP has to be spread between all my taunts; so many times I found myself low on health, but my opponents just couldn't get to me through all my walls. And of course all the removal was incredibly useful--even Vanish helped lock down one of the wins. And here I thought I didn't know how to Rogue...
Easily my best deck this expansion. Some early removal and card draw, bunch of premier late game cards (3 Primordial Glyphs, Meteor, 3 Firelands Portals, Medivh & Alexstraza.) Very few bad cards. 1 loss against a paladin.
Lost my first game due to an aggressive paladin, but outlasted all my other opponents. One game against another mage even went into fatigue. Loved playing with all the different spells this deck generated.
shaman 6-2 - Rallying Blade, Equality+Consecration and Tarim.
mage 7-2 - https://hsreplay.net/replay/HuBYbcWq8RwBRxbo8d2RLD - very tough game. He had a Pyroblast in hand and spammed me "Hello" when i was at 8 hp, but Ragna decided to heal my face instead of my creatures, thanks!
Here is my second 12 run arena deck. It went 12-2. Key to this deck was the great amount of healing which allowed me to use weapons without worrying too much about getting low on health. There was even a game were I got as log as 3 health and was able to bounce back with lay on hands and protection from taunts. Rags the lightlord is awesome in arena and was key in my last game against a hunter where I played it and used vinecleaver to clear a primordial drake together with an enraged beserker taking me down to 6HP. I also sacrificed a damaged corrupted seer on the drake so as to ensure that the heal would go to me, turned out this was the right play as he had in hand and argent commander.
Pretty good deck, very few bad cards in general, 2 weapons, some comboes. Least useful card was Primalfin Champion. Lost 1 game to a paladin and a hunter.
Another insane 12-win deck.

Besides getting crushed in the two losses against an aggro Hunter and control Priest, this 12 win run went very smooth.
The two mana removal spells and the firelands portals carried the run. The double ooze were also very useful.

12-1 Mage. 0 Board clears. Good early game tempo. 3x Polymorph closed out mid-late game. Medivh and Antonidas decided the close games.

Adding another mage to the pile...

Old school WoW Mage motto: if you don't end the run with the most damage dealt AND the most deaths, you're not trying hard enough.
