what are the best classes for arena right now? I have heard that rogue is good, but when I play it it does not feel very powerful and I lose a lot. what are the best arena classes?

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
1. Rogue (Has been one of the best classes ever since. The king of tempo). I suggest you to play aggresively and tempo but to draft value generating cards (Undercity Huckster, Hench-Clan Burglar...)
2. Warlock (Draft as much Abyssal Enforcers as you can and you are good to go)
3. Priest (Heavily relies on cards from Gadgetzan expansion)

what do you have to say about shaman and paladin, I have had better success with those classes than rogue or warrior.
I hear rogue has dropped off because of bucketing, and now hunter takes it place as aggro pick.
HSReplay says that:
1) Warlock
2) Hunter
3) Priest
4) Mage
5) Rogue
6) Paladin
7) Shaman
Warrior and druid seem to be doing something wrong cause they have very poor winrates.
Honestly, 4-7 depends on how you are good with the classes, sometimes you can win if you know what cards are good, but Warlock is the most broken class right now (And probably why hunter is number two, since hunter's hero power is good versus warlock.
visit https://hsreplay.net/ , they have a tab called "class winrates" on their frontpage, just switch it to arena. they even have additional stats for winrates of specific arena cards for each class
I struggle with Rogue too, I think I don't "get" it. Warlock crushes. I just had my first 12-win with a Paladin surprisingly. I don't play that much, and my average always seems higher in metas people complain about, sure sounds like that's right now.

They are decent, somewhere in the middle. When i play paladin I almost always pick cards that buff minions in your hand by +1/+1 and i do well. Speaking of shaman you can very often draft different styles of decks. For example make some synergies around Evolve (see Doppelgangster) or draft overload deck (removal, burn, board clears, strong tempo minions) or you can simply snag a win or two just by playing 4 mana 7/7. A lot of cool stuff. If you happen to have success with those classes, stick to them.
I was 4-0 with a crazy mage deck, then I played 2 shamans.. each with 3 hex and the 4/8 lifesteal rush windfury.. those 2 shamans I went against had crazy decks!!

Yeah, Fountains r just stupidly broken for arena, like beyond broken. They usually trade for at least 2 cards, often for 3 or 4 and heal you for 12-16 hp. And that is just one card. Now if you have second one it usually means you just won the lost game on the spot.
Obviously shaman drafts are not as consistent, otherwise you would see them with higher win rates overall, but damn if they cant steal the wins like no other.
Rogue, Hunter and Warlock, it heavily depends on your playstyle though. Faced a lot of Rogues who drafted way too top-heavy. You won't outvalue Priests or Warlocks, so you need to kill them quickly...when drafted correctly Rogue is still pretty broken imo even without lackeys (11.6 avg after 7 Rogue runs this month). Hunter also does a good job of countering Warlocks and I often give up the board in the transition to late game in order to push face damage. Priest is pretty decent as well, but more dependent on card quality. Mage kinda sucks atm imo and often relies on Conjurer's Calling to win.
Flexibility is the key. Warlock can play aggressively, Warlock can play value game, Warlock can have all of that in one deck - easily first. Even if they nerf Abyssal Enforcer occurence I don't think he'll get below pos.1
Hunter is great at beating Warlocks which is why he is second on Heartharena. Hunter has a bit of flexibility but his true strength is in ability to counter Warlocks by dealing lots of face damage early on.
Priest would be top 1 if not for Warlocks. Priest can handle most of the decks by playing insanely broken 3-drops and 4-drops and getting more value out of them. But this is not enough to beat Warlocks, to which they can't apply enough pressure like Hunter does.
Rest are a bit lower.

Warlock will be the best class for most people. Powerful cards that just play themselves, nothing fancy or complicated.
Rogue is my best class this expansion with almost all my decks made after the adjustment. Hunter also has been very strong.
