I got 12 wins with a minion based mage deck that only had Arcane Explosion and Molten Reflection as sole spells... somehow. That's a first. I thought spells have increased showing, but nope.
In all 14 games, did the babbling books only gave me 2 spells that were good, one Blizzard and one Pyro. Other than that I got Ice Barrier like in every god damn match. A fair share of Glacial Mysteries and Freezing Potion was involved as well. It was actually laughable.
Went 7-0 to 7-2 to 12-2. Had some great non-obvious plays that would probably seem bad to some people, but ultimately paid off, since I had to keep a board at all times, so not overcommitting and keeping something to play every turn was key to get around clears, since I had no removal or clears myself. When and how to push for lethal was also sometimes odd and a gamble. I could stall somewhat good, due to mirror images. That also protected my board and gave me bodies to buff. Also had some curvestone luck here and there obviously. MCT was also MVP a few times.

Deck list:
Wow, that is some serious curvestone action right there :D But hands down good job on piloting it to 12 wins, as good as it seems at first glance, it could have gone so wrong very very easilly, and as u said, basically no removals/aoes for a comeback. (Almost) No spell decks happen sometimes, even in mage and then u get decks like these and they do well and ur like whaaaaaaaaaaat? :D Those moments r so worth it ;-)
Just went 2-3, 1-3, 0-3, and 1-3 . Game is telling me to gtfo and study, obviously. As I've had at least 7 bullshit opponents / 12 losses in a row. I could list em all for ya. (All my decks were mostly trash; no staples or value cards (Haven't seen a Consecrate, Swipe, or Flamestrike in 6 drafts) and Oozes, Murlocs, and garbo class epics as epics; Volcanosaur? HA! NOPE. Bog Creeper? LOLNAHBIH.
Priest who drafted topdecks 2 Obsidian Statues and Mind Control consecutively.
Mage whom was stupid enough to draft Glacial Secrets and apparently 7 Secrets while I drew jack after he cleared my full board.
Lock who got the best Harrison Jones of his pathetic little life on my Atiesh from Medivh; into 5 dmg, into Bloodbloom (idiot pick) into Bane of Doom (2 Epics lul) to kill Medivh that same turn.
Mage whom got Lyra from Firelands Portal and Free From Amber some bs that won
Priest whom got the stupidest opener (2/3 into PWShield into coin Smite, holding SW Death, Embrace Darkness, 2 Auchenais, and Mind Control (LUL Constructed much); guy says it was a 65 pt deck. LULBlizz
Shaman whom drafted Primal Secrets or w.e that -5 tier totem deathrattle card is and won with topdeck Giant Mastodon.
1-2 Mage that topdecks Sleeping Dragon to win while I get Mark of Y'Sharjj and other garbage Heartharena told me to draft (among other crap choices)
Salt fiesta over. Go start a pretzel factory; there's enough for the entire Hearth community to jump on this new bandwagon of entrepreneurship via metaphsyical use of metaphoric salt.
Implying there's anything to learn or gud to be gitting from losing to topdecks or drafting the least garbage out of 3 garbage cards 30 picks in a row.

Well, if u can already acknowladge, that there was nothing more u could do, since u lost to a (un)lucky topdeck or BS RNG, it shouldnt affect u as much. I know, easy for me to say, but trust me, i rage about these things from time to time as well, so i know the feeling. Best thing u can do is to go do something else and forget those games and play with clear mind next time ;-)
Edit: I ended up on really low health but managed to mind control his Deathwing when he played it as his last resort. He got all the dragons via. a bunch of netherspite historians.

Speaking of constructed af Dragon Priest in Arena, just faced a bullshit Priest whom played 3 Operatives 1 game. 2 drafted and 1 from Netherspite. Roflmfao blizz.

Oh absolutely. But it's still depressing to lose 1000s of gold just cause some kid drafts godly (or garbage but gets god god synergies and you become his 1 win in his 1-3) . Best to just step away and let them ruin themselves.
I added the guy to explain to him where he went wrong and for good sportsmanship but I have yet to see him accept hahaha.
TL;DR : The Darkness saw play from my opponent, even if it did not start in his deck, got summoned in a deck with 23 cards remaining and would cost me the game had he not made any misplays. Here is the replay https://hsreplay.net/replay/QGcQsMBKPxaVGD5VcdDfxZ . You won't regret watching this match!

Yuck! Pretty much how every other priest match will look like in KAC. Good job on making it through!
A Priest just played 3 Charged Devilsaurs, an Obsidian Statue, and Sindragosa from Bone Drake in 1 game. After 7 turns of me clearing with his bs boards, he just Dragonfire Potions turn 8 and keeps his 7/2 for the win.
Here's the kicker. He THOUGHTSTOLE 2 DEVILSAURS FROM MY DECK. LMAO Kid better 15-0 with that god luck.
"You knocked 6 players out of Arena in one run! Players in your region knocked 1.8 players out of Arena on average.
You knocked 35 players out of Arena! Players in your region knocked 4.6 players out of Arena on average."
It also listed a 12er run, as well as a win streak of 10 (though I remember having a 12-0 deck? Was that one in october?)
My current Shaman deck has a lot of elementals, including a Grumble. So, I was next to dead, the opponent had lethal, I had only two Stone Sentinel + a Servant of Kalimos - and a Grumble, Worldshaker on my hand. So, I bounced my two Stone Sentinels, and played them in the same turn, discovering a Kalimos, Primal Lord. Next turn, I was able to clear his board, and setting my defensives, drawing into a Healing Rain. My opponent never recovered :D
I've just recieved a mail from Blizzard about my November in HS with some funny numbers.:
"You knocked 7 players out of Arena in one run! Players in your region knocked 1.8 players out of Arena on average.
You knocked 86 players out of Arena! Players in your region knocked 4.6 players out of Arena on average."
Anyone else recieved this?
Yeah, i got it too, but its not arena specific, it seems like these r some fun numbers from all the game modes.
Interesting information for me personally is tho, that i had an 83,3% win rate vs paladins in arena in November lol ... paladin was like my best or second best performing class iirc, but i beat them about as brutally as i played them apparently :p guess i knew what to look for hahaha :o
I like Arena; Arena hates me since the new Expansion. I was a decent player with an average of 6-8 wins (also got 12 wins with Druid last expansion. First time I ''won'' Arena). Then K&C came out and I thought ''Yeah man, there will be a lot of new cards with nice value. I definitely will have a great time''. Sad part of it: ALL OF MY OPPONENTS GET THE CARDS. And I'm not lying. Most of the time they aren't great players (like every 3rd player is trading wrong or can't activate their combo cards). Also, they just play minions every time on curve (like coining out a 2 mana 1/1 without any other 2 drop). I also don't want to say that I'm the best player, but at least I think about the moves I'm doing. I try to play around removals and try to get the best trade or the best board. Then it happens: THE STUPID RNG. I am not kidding. RNG is hating me since this Expansion. Some examples? I had a really great Priest Deck, had a great board, but only 17 Life. He played Babbling Book and two Primordial Glyphs. He got Flamestrike of the Book and Pyroblast from the Glyph. Played it in combination with Doomsayer. After this, i was at 9 Life. And guess what? He topdecked his Pyroblast and killed me. Another example: I was 3-2 with a Warlock (after I lost 2 Games against 2 Paladins with 2 Goddamn Sunkeeper Tarim (on Turn 6 and Turn 9!!!)- This game wasn't heavy. He traded a 4/5 into my Stoneskin Basilisk and not with his useless Shrieking Shroom. After he got some nice RNG (like getting Bonemare andSiphon Soul from his Thoughtsteal) it was an even board. But then the funny part happened: I've got a bit of removals in my Hand, so I destroyed his biggest minion and played Hungry Ettin. And now, try to find out which minion he got: A Dirty Rat? A Doomsayer? NO. He seriously got a card which I didn't know that it still exists: Patient Assassin. WHY. HE. GOT. THE. ONLY. CARD. WHICH. SAVED. HIM? After he killed my Taunt, he got a big Board with some 7 and 8 mana drops. I didn't have a chance after this. And that's it. Like in every second Arena game my opponent gets a big RNG advantage (not just a normal one), while I am just watiting for something like this...
My opponent just played Temporus while having 12 hp and I was out of cards... That was at 5-0.
Did you win? To be honest that play doesnt seem that bad, if you were idd out of cards, guess you didnt say if u had anything on board, that is kinda important, but if you didnt i can see that play making sense.

Ever had the most unfavored one sided luck but won the game regardless?
I had a Rogue Prince Malchezaar draft and went against a priest. At some point he threw Shifting Shade and stole a legendary that I didn't even know I had in the deck, namely The Darkness. He threw it on board next turn while I drew the first candle on my next turn. After a lot of fighting for the board I had established a very threatening one. He plays Grand Archivist and guess what? My lethal on board gets Psychic Scream'ed and I am left with an Illidan Stormrage in hand and a Corrupted Seer. After getting a 2/1 I continue to push for face as much as I can. He plays Trogg Gloomeater plus Divine Spirit and Sap's my Illidan Stormrage(god bless Drakonid Operative...). I topdeck Sonya Shadowdancer play Illidan Stormrage again and try to get as many Flame of Azzinoth's as possible. He topdecks Mind Control and steals my Illidan Stormrage. I make right trades and eliminate his Illidan with Corrupted Seer. He throws my Eldritch Horror(my 2nd highest mana cost card in the draft...) that he got from Crystalline Oracle. I topdeck my Eldritch Horror and throw him on the board. He heals his face, throws Priest of the Feast and Shadow Ascendant. I draw the 2nd candle and get another 5 drop so I throw them both on board with Eldritch Horror and trade against the Priest of the Feast . He topdecks a 2nd Grand Archivist that casts Lesser Diamond Spellstone while he pushes for face with Eldritch Horror, his greatest mistake. In my turn(lethal on board) I topdeck the 3rd candle and The Darkness gets summoned on his side of the board but his mistake ensures his loss. I have not seen a match lean so much against the opponent and him denying the right plays so much hahaha. This match was insane!
I added the guy to explain to him where he went wrong and for good sportsmanship but I have yet to see him accept hahaha.

Indeed, I did as well. Though I am not as good:

Why does this fucking game hate me so much?
And that after a soul crushing run against PERFECT RAMP CONSTRUCTED DRUID, I'm talking Wild Growth, Mire Keeper, Jade Blossom shit.

Gotta love those coins from Hoarding Dragons when you manage to draft Antonidas. Happened twice already in my run lol.
