Look at it this way: for 6 mana you sacrifice your Steady Shot to do a 2 damage enemy board blast (immediate impact), gain 5 armor (life gain that works even at 30 health), and get a hero power similar to Life Tap except it costs no health to use, doesn't accelerate fatigue, and always produces a minion, usually a very good minion. The more I think on it, the more sold I am.

Old school WoW Mage motto: if you don't end the run with the most damage dealt AND the most deaths, you're not trying hard enough.
My take is that the card will be great in the right hunter deck. You'll need to draft a bit more midrange. This card just gives you an option to switch from tempo/aggro into a value/control style if you find that you can gain card advantage by using the AOE combined with unlimited value from the hero power. There's a lot of fun combos with the hero power most of which use Duskboar like Rat Pack or Knuckles. Stonetusk Boar gives some nice options as well.
Team5 is shaping up with the new mechanics and they will have a huge impact on the Arena. Life Steal minions in buff scenarios are going to be extremely nasty. Im seeing a lot of comments that life = useless. But in Arena, if you've got anything other than a landslide match its going to be a huge positive.
So, with that said, in my opinion and going forward for pretty much all the lifesteal minions -- id say they are all going to be worth grabbing.
The alt-heros... If they're all along the lines of the Rexxar OPness i have to say that i am pretty excited for it in Arena. If you manage to pull that for your deck im going to be pretty happy. Hunter doesnt have a good time dealing with a wide board and although its slow, so is arena in most cases. Armour, board clear/weaken and that hero power is going to be enough to want to play it. Specifically for Rexxar, they placed it in a perfect spot as a decision between dropping it for life, sustain, control or dropping a highmane to push damage.
As for the others, im pretty unimpressed. The legend is a way worse Mistcaller with his downside. I do believe that T2 is too important to do anything other than produce board presence but thats my experience. I could be good if you have a very specific deck but that isn't what Arena is all about.

Even tho i think that Rexxar is a top tier card for arena (taking into consideration all what Kel said, i agree with that), its ultimately just "another card" in your deck. And in hunter specifically, u have BIG draw issues, so as amazing as it is, u might never draw it, same as with any other legendary or a good card that u draft, that happened to me many times, i drafted an amazing card that could in theory carry the deck by itself, but i never even got it :) I guess my point being, lets just not get carried away too much :))

Agreed. But it's still very slow. I'd rate it as a good card in Arena but certainly not a bomb.
The free runs for every never arena playing fucktard just shows, in which terrible state this game is. In ranked it's been since Gadgetzan at least. But arena is completely fucked up with standard mode. So Many obvious players that never played arena. They have drafted so much shit. But as Stonehill defenders are giving out Tirions and Tarims for free for example you stand no chance in those games.
This game is just full of cancer in every gamemode. I am so fucking mad simply because I loved this game and I hate that it became such a bullshit

EDIT: Wrong thread, but whatever.
I would agree, that Stonehill Defender is one of the most problematic cards in arena right now. Pretty much Vicious Fledgling lvl broken for paladins, not so much for other classes, but still quite potent.
Ticking Abomination (4): Im not gonna say this card is utter crap, cause its not. If u dont have a board, its a pretty decent card to play, especially on T4 ... but ... i would guess that in an average situation, i will not be so glad to have this card, it might perform better than i expect it to, but i dont think so.
Rating: 1(Excellent), 2(Good), 3(Average), 4(Poor), and 5 (Terrible)
Frost Lich JainaRating Undecided: We saw a leak for this card last week and I was waiting to get a confirmation on her Hero Power before I offered an evaluation, but I still don't have it. Although the card is expensive it can be an absolute turn-around for you in the late game by granting Lifesteal to your Elementals. This is probably going to be sitting between a 2-3 rating, depending on what her Hero Power turns out to be.
Ticking Abomination Rating 4(Poor): This is a purely situational card, but could run away with the game, much like a Vicious Fledgling, if your opponent is unable to deal with it. In a typical draft this will probably hurt you more than it helps you.

I think Jaina, for arena, will solely depend on what the hero power is gonna be, u cant usually rly count on the elemental synergy, even less in the future i would presume, so i am quite excited to learn what it will do :) I kinda expect it to summon an elemental or something.

I agree with you about the weight her Hero Power will have on her rating. Also, the Elemental summon ability was hinted at elsewhere, but I'm waiting for the actual reveal before I make my final judgment. She's so slow though, so it may set her rating at a 3(Average), regardless.

Yup, im waiting as well, thats why i didnt even mentioned her or evaluated her myself. Cant wait! Cmon Blizz :D
If 5-6 stats were so good Warlock would be insta-picking Pit Lord, not avoiding it. And all that does is remove health, not board wipe.
People will easily take advantage of you playing it, at least with the cards that increase the mana cost of your cards you can play something, you can't really play anything other than stuff with low stats and good deathrattle effects. I can think of some fun decks to craft around this card, but barring that it is probably not bottom tier, but not much higher than middling.

Are u sure u comment on its arena uses, not constructed ?:)
I honestly think that Chillblade Champion is utterly terrible. You said that it would be good late game, however, by that point there's not a lot that Chillblade can kill, and even if you're looking for this OTK deck it wouldn't work, due to there being better charge minions. Speaking of OTK, why would you need lifesteal? You probably would have already won the game if you made a good OTK deck.
Stonetusk Boar is a better card for OTK decks, since you have more mana to spend on buffs.
Good arena card though, for how reactionary it is.

I only rated the card "average" and this entire thread is dedicated ONLY to the Arena impact.

I think you misread what Freakin3 meant. It's a card that could be useful in constructed but, in arena, your opponent will take advantage of it if you play it.
I think it's along the lines of Unlicensed Apothecary and Bittertide Hydra. You get enamored with the stats b/c stats are more important in arena but then you realize the downside sucks too much to ever want to draft it again.
What I meant is that maybe I could draft this card, and piece together a deck that synergies with this, that would be completely ineffective, but fun. I'm not opposed to drafting a weird ass deck. This is supposed to be a expansion heavy on the deathrattles, so the effectiveness of said deck could be better than is immediately obvious.
Plague Scientist (1): OMG this card is so stupid i want to scream. OP as hell, almost as OP as Vilespine Slayer, actually better in certain situations, cause its cheaper and the "cost" of a minion trade might be ok in that situation. Why does it have to be common, why? It could have easilly been rare ... now we will have to clear every single 1/1 from rogue as well as pally, cause this crap gonna get extra chance to be in your draft, so u bet your ass every single rogue gonna have this card. QQ
Ice Breaker (5): lol at first i thought it was a mage weapon :D ok its a shaman one, so there will most likely be some freezing cards for shaman in KFT, but for now its completely unusable card for arena and there would have to be TONS of synergy cards for it to ever be relevant in arena. At least its rare ...
Rating: 1(Excellent), 2(Good), 3(Average), 4(Poor), and 5 (Terrible)
Blood-Queen Lana'thel Rating 4(Poor): If you don't discard any cards, then she's useless. If you're able to draft multiple cards with discard effects, then she could rate slightly higher, but her value is too dependent on something else happening. Because she has Lifesteal that bumps her up a little bit, but not much.
Ice Breaker Rating 4(Poor): This makes me think that Shamans are going to get more ways to Freeze minions, because Frost Shock is not going to cut it alone. Even so, I would look for a better method of removal in Arena rather than relying on a two-card combo that damages yourself in the process.
Plague Scientist Rating 2(Good): His stats for the cost aren't anything to get excited about, but his ability to give another minion Poisonous could be crucial in the late game for getting rid of large Taunts like Bog Creeper, Primordial Drake, and Giant Mastodon.
