I wonder if it is practical for an organized clan to play at the same time and cross-track the key cards in other people's decks. That is probably a significant advantage for a good player.
Also, related to @TheHoodedClaw's comment, it is somewhat comforting that the 6.5 - 7 average wins claimed so often online are actually not so common. Probably either selective memory, or win streaks on shorter samples. And some of them may be just wishful thinking or lies.
Got 13 place on EU but i don't think it's right. I had most of my arenas counted on heartharena (except a few that i count myself) and i didn't have even close enough to amount of wins in january and i had higher winrate (34 not 56 and ~8.05 not 7.55). I don't know either heartharena is lying or it wasn't stats from january or there was some bug with stats. Still happy with top 13, just found this a bit strange. If anyone want to see my heartharena stats there they are: http://www.heartharena.com/profile/yura_raketa .
nvm i just checked my heartharena archives and for some reason i have a lot of uncounted arena runs
It is fascinating to see that an average of less than 7 wins will place you in the top 100. Hearthpwn has traditionally been cluttered with people claiming an average of 7 wins/infinite!
Unfortunately they can't be proven liers with that proof. It's very likely that many of them don't play 30 runs in a single month. Who plays several runs a day, or plays one run every single day and never skips a day? You need at least 30 runs a month to get on that list, which is absurd. Not all have time to play that much or play on the ladder too. Even if they are good enough to have arena self sustain itself and thus don't need to worry about the gold.
I do believe many float their numbers, but some probably do have the high average, but just play less then 30 runs a month. Others might just be on those lists.
Haven't played arena for over a year, but would be interesting to see what average I could get after some relearning. (Would be happy with something close to 5) But probably too lazy to do that, plus want to spend all gold day one of a new expansion and enjoy the fresh meta and new cards, not grind them through arena, that I've never enjoyed that much.
