I've enjoyed this a lot, both games I've played were highly entertaining.
First game got a turn one concede when I dropped a first turn Mysterious Challenger with literally every paladin secret packed in the deck apparently. That was fun.
Second game was close to a ridiculous loss after getting Brawled out of a board, but came back with two Eadric the Pure minimizing the threat of the opponents full board. Eeked out a win three damage at a time.
I am legitimately appalled at the amount of salty people in this brawl. It's a TAVERN BRAWL. Grow up!
Congrats. You have an opinion and so do I.
That's not the point- I was referencing the people who hated this brawl because they got unlucky and lost, usually by a large margin. It's crazy experiences like this that make it fun- and in a Tavern Brawl, you have no excuse for being salty because there is literally nothing to lose.
This might be the first brawl that I don't bother getting my free classic pack... I enjoy RNG, I do, but this amount is crazy.

For those of you who enjoyed this brawl, congratulations. I am glad that at least someone enjoyed it because I absolutely did not. It was just too random to the point that there was absolutely no strategy. At least with the portal and spider brawls you could mulligan for your class cards and there was some strategy involved with weighing the risk of playing the portals and spiders or the minions spawned from them. For me personally that was the most enjoyable level of randomness, and I played those Brawls a lot since I do understand and appreciate the value that RNG adds to a game like Hearthstone.
However, this brawl was throughly unenjoyable. My personal experience was poor, and I hope they don't do anything like this again. Again, I am glad that some people enjoyed this week's brawl, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just hope that like-minded individuals have their voices heard more because I personally do not want to play this one again.
I hate this tavern brawl and think it should die in a fire. I wouldn't care so much except that I got the tavern quest and didn't want to lose 20 g by rerolling. That is all.
Man, I've had to tell this to everyone, Tavern brawl was introduced based of how much people liked the ridiculous class challenges, blizzard understand that when something awesome happens like a good player dies to a crap newbie because of RNG giving the newbie a turn 1 innervate ysera, rag and cenarius people laugh.
This is a great example of who is a cup half-full person, an optimist will see this as a fun clip to hand to trolden a chance to have a laugh boost view counts, while a pessimist will see this as RNGesus taking a great steaming shit all over them.
My final point is that it's TAVERN BRAWL, there are literally no downside to losing in tavern brawl, none, you don't lose rank, you don't use 1 of your 3 losses in arena it's like casual, there are no stakes. The intro cinematic is what I will leave you with A bunch of try-hards telling you how to win and the one smart person telling you to "just forget all that, and just have fun".

This is the worst Brawl so far. By far.

The Warsong nerf and now this...?! This Brode guy is on some serious crack.
Oops...
Based on the steady trend towards RNG in every aspect of the game, I fully expect next week's Tavern Brawl to look something like this.
If you don't like RNG, this is not your game. Your game is chess. No RNG involved. Don't like chess? Then stop fucking complaining about RNG

I love this Tavern Brawl!! Only one I have played more than for the 1st win hahah. So many fun cards/combos!
turn 1 druid playing 2 giant + malorne = balanced
I think that was me man...
It's not fun. Even if you won the game. It takes everything away what this game is about in normal circumstances - planning your curve.
Some weeks I loved the Tavern Brawl, even with a LOT of RNG in them. This one is unplayable.
What's next? Random cards with random text with random cost?
The RNG is strong with this one. It seems the best call is to mulligan for higher mana cards and hope for 1 mana legendary on turn 1.
FML I got the tavern brawl quest.
herp
It's great fun when you 1: get a great starting hand, 2: your cards are discounted to 80% or more of their original cost.
It's not so fun when you get neither of those two.
I've had games where the game refused to discount those minions. Every turn they only dropped one mana point or none at all.

I enjoy the randomization of this tavern brawl. This is me top decking the second deathwing when he has a board of minions.
Best brawl :D
