How do people who complain about randomness play Hearthstone in the first place? If they do they must NEVER go to the arena.
Yes, this tavern brawl makes the game much more dependent on RNG, but unless you were playing a deck you counter very well or against someone terrible, 1/3 of the time their cards come up better than yours, 1/3 you get the right cards first and should win, and the middle 1/3 are what you are fighting for. So this Tavern Brawl switches that to 40% you win, 40% they win, there are still 20% in the middle that are crazy close fights, and it is fun to see the games swing back and forth so drastically with all of the legendary cards.
My only complaint is that animations of all cards should speed up by x% on successive plays throughout a fight, half for strategy (too many times turns couldn't be finished because portals took too long, especially with the 15 second dragon) and half for fun (spending most of every turn waiting for portals to animate is a lame way to play a game).
I didn't read all of this so maybe it's been said: WTF is the point of putting Sense Demons in a deck but no demons? The same applies to Demonfire. Why put a card in that will damage your own minions b/c it is all RNG minions off portals?
That's the price you pay for the awesomeness of Life Tap in a format where everyone eventually end up with an empty had due to no draw.

Arena is one of the least random parts of the game. It takes true skill to draft decks and play with and around every card whereas in ranked you just copy a deck, play only that deck and know exactly what to expect at every turn. All the cards and decks are very strong and any slight bit of RNG decides the game instantly.
RNG brawls are also like that. You aren't playing any game, it's just a program that decides if you win or lose independent of what you do. What's the point?
The portal brawl involves no decision-making of any kind, you are literally just clicking on cards to see animations come out. Nothing you decide will affect the outcome of the game.
Literally one of the worst brawls ever. My most common minion has EASILY been millhouse, 4 and counting. My opponent somehow manages to have an answer EVERY FUCKING TIME, meanwhile i'm rolling the most worthless minions possible. Most of my games aren't even games, it's just me waiting to die. Easily under 50% win rate, and huge losing streaks.

Troggzor wins you the game. Millhouse loses you the game. I got lucky once, I played Millhouse and the Rogue had 1 card and it was preperation. It was Hilarious!

This brawl isn't even random.
It's, once, fucking, again. Solely dependent on what class you play.
Worst brawl ever. Usually I'll end up with 35-40 wins. I'm at 12 and holding. There really is no point to this one. At least the web spinner one had a little bit of strategy.
So, one of my opponents had in the field Mistress of Pain and Auchenai Soulpriest. He is at 7 life. He attacks with Mistress of Pain and his life starts draining until he gets to negative and loses... is this a bug? Or am I missing something?

all heal effects of the player who has the soulpriest in play are reversed. So when his Mistress of Pain (who heals the owner for however much damage she deals) attacked you, it damaged him, rather than healing him

You missed what actually happened. 1 damage from Mistress should not have dealt 8 damage to himself. So his question's correct answer is that yes, this is a bug.

he never stated if she was at the default 1/4 or if she had been buffed (I.E. Power Overwhelming and Demonfire, she could have easily had 8 attack, putting him in the negatives.

This is not a bug, when Mistress attacks while Auchenai is on board, she deals damage to the hero and whenever she deals damage she is supposed to heal (now damage) the hero so she will deal infinity damage to your hero!

This game I got a Trogzor. I was very strategic about laughing as my board filled up with super powered trogs

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice - Sneak Review! http://www.thepoxbox.com/challenges.php?id=batmanvsuperman
This weeks tavern brawl is all about getting luck enough with Unstable Portal to pull out troggzor the earthinator.

[card]Troggzor the Earthinator [/card] OP as f***!
actually hitting a turn 2 trogg is a bit of a nightmare either way.... you waste so much resource or you get really lucky on your next portal

Boring.
Hope you were not him.

I didn't want this fail fest. Blizz should give up and take out Brawl for something useful. But they do love to hang on to their failures...
I wanted a tournament mode. Guess that would have taken thought, though.

Most fucked up brawl ever... even worse then the webspinner one.
