Yay! First time I think I've ever played The Darkness and it actually activated. Of course I was against a mage so it got polymorphed immediately, but still fun. Besides I won the game anyway.
I actually love this brawl as it's a alot of fun. I was just wondering though, anyone else noticed the very large number of ... hmm let's just say slow people who are contemplating which raven idol to take and/or trade one or more raven idols in for different raven idols? This made me laugh a bit, I"m not sure whether they were expecting something different to happen or just didn't pay attention to the instructions for the brawl.
I really hate this brawl, it’s not fun at all. If it’s RNG brawl at least make it like yogg (play a minion and cast a random spell). Heck, I’d rather play the chess brawl or even boss fight brawls.
About this brawl, I've read horror stories of games lasting 30 to 45 minutes... but fear not, oh you who have not completed it yet! Yours truly is coming to the rescue, with the recipe used to win on the very 1st game, in a much shorter time. However, it might not suit everybody, so it comes in a spoiler:

This isn't an RNG brawl.

It essentially is, considering that what we get off of each idol, whether it be a minion or a spell, is completely random
rng is always a factor but it's not an rng brawl.. it's never just rng. A solid strategy followed by solid game play will minimize the impact of the rng and should net your more wins than losses. I've fired up this brawl 8 times so far simply because it's entertaining, I am 6-2 so far, which is about right.

yeah, totally agree with you, tbh I think its one of the most balanced "random" brawls (altough it sounds weird). good players will always have good winrate in this one. the only problem is the length of the games, in the long term they really need to do something with these animations...
This is actually one of the more enjoyable RNG brawls, at least when your opponent doesn't rope you every single turn...
During one of my games as Hunter I played Rat Trap on t3, followed by Bear Trap on t4. My opponent was Rogue and had a Jade Swarmer from t2. He triggered the bear, played three Raven Idol only to discover the 6/6 => Concede. Now that was quite amusing.

Idols of Azeroth
Ever draw a spell when you really needed a minion? Never again! Your deck will be 30 Raven Idols, so you'll be able to discover whatever you need!
First brawl of the new expansion. How delightful that they found a new and fresh experience, the likes of which we'd not seen before!
A bit meh, but I have a spell master daily to do, so I'm not complaining.
Oh god not this brawl again. The only brawl worse than this one is the one we just played before this.

How many times have we seen this brawl now? lol, hate this one.

Well, still better than Randomonium or Encounter at the Crossroads.
Could be okay if they deactivated the animation for Raven Idol.
Right now, it's simply way too slow except for the aforementioned spell quest.

1: Use your first Raven Idol to Discover Vicious Fledgling
2: coin out flappy bird
3: get Windfury from 1st attack
the rest is left as an exercise to the reader.
See? Pure skill, no RNG involved at all ;)
I discovered Skulking Geist to destroy both decks. Fun game.
