No pack. For me, those packs pretty much result in 40 dust anyway. Meh. The brawl was good and the card back is awesome though.
I'll have to agree with the poster above: 25 cents is not worth my time, or anyone's time if that someone has a decent, let alone good job. You know it's true. People drop $3-4 on a Starbucks coffee few times a week. One pack of virtual cards is nothing. Also, as an alternative - Win some games in casual, earn gold and you'll end up with well over 10k gold, like I did before the last expansion.
If you're dropping $4 on a cup of coffee, then you definitely don't value your money. I have a very decent job, but I still track every penny they give me. It has nothing to do with needing the penny, it's a mentality to appreciate having those pennies. Something I imagine will be lost to this generation.

I personally don't drop $4 on a cup of dessert coffee very often. But people do. And considering I am 42 years old, I am not part of "this generation". I'm just a family man with a good job, so 1 card pack more or less means nothing to me.
Valuing your money is relative. People pay few hundred $ for a bottle of wine. They spend few million on a house, $100k on a car. That does not mean they don't value their money, it means they have the money to spend.
Card back is better how? Does the card back generate dust, cards you don't have, reduce your legendary pity timer, etc? They should just give both and stop being stingy. This is supposedly a celebration event and yet another useless card back doesn't feel like much to celebrate.
i just cant understand this. its a free game. blizz is generous with the free pack a week.
they did so much great work with this weeks brawl. i would expect anything of a reward than the brawl itself.
the back is debateble, could be more unique like the winterveil-back but this is complaining on a very high level.
you guys should just enjoy this brawl but you always are so greedy ... sad.
It's not about greed. Would you rather have a quarter or a commemorative coin? One has value, and the other is simply aesthetic. It's a pretty straightforward choice for most.
A quater is not even worth a minute of my time. The commemorative coin is priceless. Get a job and learn what your time is worth. That will help you understand why the majority of people are fine with just the cardback. Packs are cheap.
Well that just shows how entitled you are if you think $0.25 is not worth your time (although I have a feeling you're just trying to take a shot). Take it from a poor boy who's crawled out of the pit to make something of himself: even a PENNY is worth your time.
No. It means that I make more than $15/hr. As a CPA I bill at $150/hr. Work harder and you wont be a poor boy.
I see. And you drew a conclusion that I do not make more than $15/hr? On what basis? That I value every cent that I earn?
I do work hard, and I am duly compensated. Such is the law.
Just because you make decent money doesn't mean you should take it for granted.
Wow, you have a lot of insecurities that you are projecting. I said nothing about you making $15/hr. I never even said what I make, because bragging is lame. I said my time is worth more than a quarter a minute. You retorted that I am acting entitled and parents need to teach their children better. I replied that "no. It just means I make more than $15/hr", which if you do the math is a quarter a minute.
Now back on topic. Get off the quarter and lets just use $1.99/pack. To me $1.99 is only worth a few minutes of my time...but because a card back is priceless (can't be bought with money) I personally value it more.
Unless brawl card pack etc reads in terms of service you agree or something, you aren't entitled to anything by them. This is just from a legal viewpoint.
Now, I'm not telling that you aren't allowed to complain but this is like when someone doesn't get their usual bonus and they storm to boss' office over it.
Personally, it would have been cool if they made card back just a bonus reward and still gave the free pack (defeat the cow king to receive the other reward.)
Card backs are cute, but I would rather have opened a pack as my reward. For almost a year I didn't even change my card back from the OG hearthstone card back, it's something I really just don't pay attention to. I didn't even start this thread to complain, I just didn't know wtf happened when I won and checked my pack openings and it was 0. Should have just read the brawl post than ask this after playing my first game. Patience, a virture I should learn

On that note, why should we care about the judgments of p2p players? I care less about them than I do this stupid card back.
Love the game, can't stand most of the players.
