I was quite surprised when I checked my profile here on Heartpwn, that, if I would disenchant all my cards from cycled-out sets I would get about 32k dust O_o which would allow me to craft quite some cards from the current set
I loved playing the old sets but I more of a standard type player - overall I am a casual player anway and not much of a collector, since it doesn't get me anywhere having a Deathwing sitting in my collection and never using ist :P
I used to see Hearthstone as a collection as well, but since it's online, I felt it was a bit weird. Nonetheless, it took me a long time to dust even the worst Legendaries (Lorewalker Cho, Hogger, and so on), just because I wanted a full collection.
In reality however, and I feel I'm in a similar boat as you, I don't have time to make the biggest memes of decks, or to divide time in both Wild ánd Standard. So I made the decision to only focus on Standard, and to play atleast semi-competitive decks only. I dusted all the cards I didn't use in over a year, as well as all my rotated cards. Saved me a shit ton of money, and made me enjoy the game again.

I would absolutely never advise dusting non-extra cards from Standard sets.
I can understand if some people want to dust their Wild cards, but think very carefully before you do. There's no going back, and you will never, ever be able to play Wild again without re-crafting a lot of stuff.
(It also impacts your ability to participate in Tavern Brawls, if that matters to you at all.)
I know it is an irreversible decision, that's why I need as many opinions on that as possible^^
But I came to the conclusion, that I just might go for it ... playing for about 6 years now and never really played WILD and since WILD gets more and more complex as well with the newer cards, I might just focus on standard alone.
Because what good is it if I got 50 % of the WILD cards I need but in order to be competetive in that mode I would need the other 50 % from the latest expansion, hence my best option is to go purely standard + I am F2P anyway, got no intension of spending money into the game ever - especially not in these 80 packs pre orders ... one day maybe but not very likely tbh
hola fellas!

thanks in advance ya'll!
I DE some cards every new set or so, but not all of them
This space is intentionally blank.
Yea go for it.
You Should at least have one tier 1 Deck in the beginning of every expansion to have fun in this game.

I wouldnt in fact standard is starting to become a bit expensive. dont dust anything as you might regret it
I thought about that too and I've actually crafted Bolf Ramshield for one of the tavern brawls because I would have fun with it.
But recently tavern brawls have mostly been random or premade decks which kind of makes that irrelevant, unfortunately.

I did it and got me some decent 2 decks out of it ;) still some dust left for at least 2 more decks
Overall quite happy! =)
I should also note that if I want to play "wild", I would just play some arena games or tavern brawl :P
Decide on certain classes DE all cards in these that will rotate next year.
Also you can DE useless cards.
