Please feel free to friend me in-game. I'll be happy to critique your decks and play and share some wisdom. I am by no means an expert but I've been playing since Beta and routinely reach single digits in Wild. I left the game for a while so I am missing many of the staple cards for Standard.

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
I find the biggest problem people experience is planning their plays before you have even drawn, and you convince yourself that it was the best possible play you could of done, but more often than not, you probably could of done something better. You have a minute and a half for each play, don't be afraid to use some of it just to think about your turn. When I take my time I often find a different play to the one I had in mind, which previously I would of missed had I of rushed my turn. A few tips I would give are:
Stick to one deck. (usually a meta deck)
Take a look at the popular deck lists and learn what you will most likely be playing against.
Take your time with plays (I can't stress this enough, there is a reason why top players rope even if it seems like a simple turn. They want to make sure it is the best possible play they can make)
Get sometime to spectate you and talk in chat with them while you play. You can compare the plays you would both make.
Be careful when you see popular streamers advertising decks at legend rank, it doesn't mean they will be good at higher ranks.
Im really glad to see so many helpful posts and even lots of coaching offers from the community members! Hopefully the OP will learn new tricks with you guys :)
So I notice the original poster hasnt even replied once to any of us, regarding his asking for help to GIT GUD! Amazing how easily someone can ask for help, yet not accept any of it, or at least acknowledge that some of us actually took a second to offer advice, ideas, or even offers of coaching.
Just a quick pointer to you sir, next time you ask for help, its common courtesy to say thx, and or reply with a quick msg. Otherwise, people might think your not serious about need for help.
I for one was really looking forward to helping someone out. Its a great way to get out of ones self, and ones problems,is by helping another person with something they need! lol
Dude even with selfmade thief rogue I was able to raise my rank to 9 I think you forgot how to play the game. or you are extremely unlucky.
But there is one thing when I play with meta decks I encounter with other meta decks and counter decks more often. But when I play with my selfmade deck I encounter with more variety of decks.
I think they made matchmaking in a way that they try to counter your deck when you have a winstrike.
I went through a similar situation when I first started..these are some things that will help you
1.do not change deck whenever you lose a game.
2.play a deck you Enjoy!
3.watch YouTube videos or streamers on twitch...I found this so helpful!i remember watching mr yagut play oil rogue years ago and getting nr 1 legend...that season I got legend for the first time as watching him helped me ALOT.
I would recommend to look up a decklist online and stick with that deck for a while (at least 50 + deck). The more experience you have with a deck the more you can see where to improve and you will eventually climb higher.
If your goal is to climb ladder, and you don't necessarily have a favorite class or build that you want to play, I'd recommend Secret Hunter. The only legendarys needed are Zilliax, Subject 9, and Zul'jin.
This is the deck that I've been climbing the best with thus far. So far I've reached rank 8, and I'm on a win streak.
OK, so first of all, thank you all for your wonderful words of support and offers of coaching, I deeply appreciate the gestures, and hope we can get in touch and work something out for that to work. It sounds like a lot of good help.
Secondly, funny thing about writing this post, I wrote it in a fit of frustration, because I figured the best time to play was in the mornings. Here's the kicker, not even two days after I wrote this post, I came home from work, didn't have time to play in the morning, and wouldn't you know it, I hit Rank 16. In fact, just yesterday, I reached Rank 15!
And not to undermine the words and offers of support given in this thread, understand I appreciate that greatly, but I think the problem has been that my frustration was that I was facing more difficult opponents at a bad time of day. I've been playing a little more frequently in the afternoon (I'm not planning to today, because work and I don't trust how the Ladder scene is at night) and games have been a great deal better.
I will gladly take some help friend, always looking to improve my game. I'm pacific time so right now it's early morning. Add me when it's convenient for you and we will talk. Thank you
Something that I see a lot of players lacking is anticipation and being able to create awkward situations for your opponent.
You can ask yourself these questions:
What kind of deck are you facing? What cards are common in that archetype and which less common ones do you have to be watchful for?
How certain are you that the archetype you think you're facing, is the one you're actually facing.
What kind of removal (spells, rush minions, boardclears, etc.) do deck types have?
How can you play around these? (going into turn 7 against a control Mage, do you trade your 5 health minion, or two 3 health minions?)
What board do you leave at the end of the turn to more easily answer the worst and most likely board of the opponent?
Do you need to force out mass removal from your opponent? How do you do that without going all-in?
What cards do you keep in hand for later turns, in case of mass removal?
Can you keep the pressure up so that they still have to make the awkward play to survive, rather than further their own gameplan?
I've played mostly Quest Priest for the past couple of days and with a few exceptions, very little people knew how to deal with blocking me from getting heals off, which sometimes allows me to get the quest completed way before it's needed.
theres really no reason to do anything other than sticking to a deck and practicing, seeing as you're on this forum I assume you dont just pick 30 random cards and turn it into a deck. You can do it with a sub 50% win rate, theres really no sort of magic trick to it. People just make better choices than others, resulting in a better win rate combined with playtime that's how people reach top ranks.
I know basically 99,999% of the gaming community blame everything on bad luck, and how stupid luck is etc. But hearthstone isn't about winning individual games its about making the best decisions so you win more games. learn to accept that, and dont turn it into a blanket excuse, that's going to help you improve and enjoy the game a whole lot more.
If you enjoy playing wacky decks with deplorable win-rates, learn to accept the deplorable win.-rates.
I started playing 3 weeks ago. In my first 4 days of playing I opened 20 packs dusted everything and built a budget mid range hunter deck. I hit rank 11 within 80 games total and then I hit the warrior wall. Maybe your deck just isn’t good or you don’t know how to use the deck your playing? 🤷🏽♂️

Are you playing bomb warrior?
If not, that's your first and last mistake.
Must not play much each month., I mean some decks a 3 year old can play and get to rank 10.
