I put this deck together. Currently just for casual. I haven't taken it into ranked yet. I don't play a lot of ranked. I play a lot of casual and I face legend players that play the same decks you find in ranked mode. Guide, Details and Explanations included. Looking for feedback. What do you think? Will it stand up in ranked mode?
The same deck is in my signature and used to be called Hakkar Quest Thief Priest. I changed the name to Hakkar Concede Priest and it doesn't seem to change in the signature. Very strange. I even removed the deck from the signature, saved, re-added it to the signature and the name stayed the same. Bug?
I would remove Griftah mainly due to the randomness of it and it not bringing enough value (in case you want to play with for Princess Talanji ). I would put in it's place one Skulging Geist to disrupt some combo decks, is also good against rogues to some extend, just be sure to drop it early, before Hakkar if you want to win the game with him.
Devour Mind is also not good, a better pick would be Cloning Device - although dead in spell hunter matchups. Only one Eternal Servitude is also not so good, you have a big pool of minions so the value of it goes down a lot. Zerek's is also situational and does not fit well, or atleast I'm not seeing the value.
I'm not seing the deck doing very well on ladder though, mainly because you have next to no card draw and no way to deal with any of the usual decks you find there. If you really want to play priest stick to the MB, OTK topsy variants. If you want to play Hakkar, there is already one good deck which includes it. Your deck has no real win condition, and the board you create with Princess is very easy to deal with by almost all other decks.

I use Griftah for a lot of strategy plays. I get that he is random but it adds an additional card to rogue, warlock or warrior's hand when they have 9 cards in their hand which I see a lot. He can be easily removed and is not essential to the deck however.
Devour Mind can be removed. I liked it because it gives me 3 of the opponents cards and overall I was getting good cards with it. I can try it with Cloning Device
In regards to card draw, the deck has very little card draw but you always have cards in your hand from your opponents deck. The only time this works against you is Kingsbane because there is very little there you can play without the weapon and the deck has a 2 conditions for stealing the weapon in it.
Win condition is fatigue and Hakkar, the Soulflayer. Most opponents concede way before then though. Just played a game where druid had 30 armor and 14 Corrupted Blood's in his deck. Took his armor down instantly and he conceded. Princess Talanji is a closing card or last resort card after you have played Archbishop Benedictus.
This is just a snippet from the guide. These are casual games but they are the same decks I would see in ranked. I hear the ladder is filled with hunter decks right now and this deck has a 100% WR against Spell, Midrange and Secret hunter decks.
If you have suggestions, please mention them. If you feel cards can be replaced, please speak up.
Decks destroyed multiple times with this Deck - Deathrattle Hunter - Spell Hunter - Big Spell Mage - Pirate Rogue (Non Kingsbane Version) - Quest Pally - Elemental Mage - Odd Rogue - Even Rogue - Shirvallah Pally - Midrange Secret Hunter - No Minion Secret Hunter - Hanlock (1 for 1 but I drew so badly the first time. I faced him again and he conceded. If they get both Giants and you have no answer, it's game over.) - Zoolock - Discolock - Every Druid I have encountered including Quest Druid (Stole all of his 0 cost minions with Archbishop Benedictus - Every Warrior I have encountered - Control Decks, in general, fall victim to this deck. - Elemental Shaman - Aggro Shaman - Even Shaman - Shudderwock Shaman - Many versions (Except the armor version. That's just crazy) - Mecha'Thun warlock (Any Mecha'thun deck period)
Played right this might be ''okay'' but don't expect to reach a high rank quick with this deck... Your curve seems awfully high to consistently beat hunter decks or odd paladins.
Overall it just seems way too greedy for a meta that doesn't reward greed much at the moment

Thanks for the feedback. This deck destroys hunters from the games I have played. The majority of games I played are druid and hunter and I lost to 1 hunter that was aggro and he drew perfectly. Odd pally is so so... I beat them consistently but they do win a few.
Why does it seem greedy? Devour Mind? My objective was to create a thief priest which would be greedy... lol... I wanted a combination of Quest and Thief. Is that why it seems greedy? I was trying to work in Princess Talanji which works with the steal cards. I was considering taking her out of the deck but she has come in handy as a finisher. I could put Coffin Crasher into the deck and remove her. That would pull out Hakkar, the Soulflayer or Obsidian Statue if you happen to pull either of them.
What do you mean the meta doesn't reward greed at the moment? I don't quite understand the statement. Does that mean cards that steal other cards are weaker in this meta?

There's no point to being greedy and having tons of value if you're going to get killed by Kingsbane/Mecha'tun/Shudderwock anyway.
This is a fun deck for sure, my personal favorite decks are mega super greedy wild decks, but it's not a good deck to climb the ranked ladder, which was your original question.
Beating Kingbane rogues with their own weapon is quite special, happened to me once when i was able to get Kingsbane from the Oracle and then poison and Greenskin from Glimmerroot and Cloning Device.
Your pictures look interesting, i would suggest not to lose time in casual mode, win or lose is better to go ranked. Also the play quality is a little bit better than casual from my experience.

Thanks. I agree with play quality. I have played ranked and was able to make it to rank two. I think I could have made it all the way but work, life and other crap gets in the way.... Lol
Kingsbane is definitely difficult no doubt. I will try this deck in ranked and see what happens. Ranked is just so frustrating and ticks me off so much. Casual doesn't frustrate me as much. Win or lose though, its a fun deck.
I like the idea of tutoring out Hakkar with Zerek, though I feel if you are going to go with Zerek, the version with Malygos, Mind Blasts, etc, can already do an obscene amount of damage around turn 10.
I've tried other Hakkar quest decks, it's definitely a card that's a lot of fun, but it's just awkward enough to keep it from being an actual great deck. Having said that, I did make plenty of mistakes playing those decks.
And don't worry about ranked vs casual, do what you want.

Cool Thanks. Yeah, wanted to see if it would do good. Thus far, I have beat every version of Shudderwock with this deck except the armor up version. That deck is just crazy. This deck destroys Mecha'thun decks. With the Corrupted Blood in their deck Mecha'thun never happens.
I think I am going to add Coffin Crasher and remove one of the other cards to see how that goes.
Kibler put together a similar list the first day or so after launch. His was more, "Get Amara. Get multiple copies with Seance. Discover big things, get random big things, save them for Talanji."
So the win condition was basically the Hakkar Corrupted Bloods, or after the opponent has played most/all removal spells play Talanji for a big tempo swing turn.
You could add in things like Stonehill Defender to discover a The Lich King or other big taunts for your Talanji turn, as well as Bone Drake. Not sure if that messes up your main game plan.
EDIT: I've played a few games with Kibler's list, and I'm 3-2 with it. Rank 6-7 when I played it. I know guys like Thjis have also been playing a similar list. I kind of prefer the Togwaggle Hakkar Druid, but Priest at least has a secondary win condition and can just outright beat aggro with Duskbreaker, multiple Amara turns, Psychic Screams, etc. One of my wins with this list was a Spell Hunter that just conceded the first time I played Amara into Seance.

Awesome. I haven't seen any other decks like this but I will check it out. Yes, that is the idea behind the deck however most games I find the princess doing just that, being a princess behind the scenes and never being utilized. I almost consider taking her out but she has saved my ass a couple of times in a game where I would have lost. Shaman went into combo and somehow pulled out 2 Al'Akir the Windlord's which would have given him the win but thanks to Devour Mind and Archbishop Benedictus I was able to have The Lich King, Fire Elemental and 2 Earth Elemental's. Out comes Princess Talanji and board filled with high cost minions but that doesn't happen very often at all. Shaman waited for a moment and then conceded. Most of the time I find the minions in my hand are very helpful battlecry minions which I want.
I was considering taking her out but it is a second win condition and it works so I will keep her in. I am thinking about putting Coffin Crasher in but not sure what to take out. I know people here have mentioned that Devour Mind is a bad card but I cannot tell you the number of times that card has saved my butt when I was running slow on cards so I like it. Not sure what to take out to add Coffin Crasher. I could take out Dead Ringer but he is a solid 2 drop of which my deck is severely lacking :D.
I checked out the deck. I have played against similar decks like that. They never played Hakkar, the Soulflayer however. I just thought they were Mecha'thun decks when I saw Reckless Experimenter. I beat them with this deck as well.
Any advice? I find games that Hakkar, the Soulflayer is in my hand and I need to pull him without spending 10 mana.

Zerek's Cloning Gallery is the core card and key to this deck and finishing your quest so I cannot remove that. The entire point to this deck is to stay alive until turn 8 or 9 with both Obsidian Statue's and Hakkar, the Soulflayer in your deck and finish your quest, then play Amara, Warden of Hope.
Devour Mind can be removed. I liked it because it gives me 3 of the opponents cards and overall I was getting good cards with it. I can try it with Cloning Device
I was also concerned with running only 1 Eternal Servitude but it has worked out when you need it the most. Perhaps remove Griftah and replace with Eternal Servitude. I typically try not to use Eternal Servitude until after Obsidian Statue has been killed.
