Doesn't seem that any of the top tier decks have overkill as a reliable source in them, except for the Hunter legendary. I haven't been around much, so I'm just asking.

Hunter legendary actually doesn't use overkill. I think you mean Warrior's Loa.

They hit home with a few cards with the new mechanic. I think we will see more of it in the future, when they know better what is needed to make the cards playable but not oppressive.
Baited Arrow is surprisingly good in Spell Hunter, did not expect that, but actually a 5/5 for 5 mana with battlecry deal 1 or 2 damage, which can also be used as 3 damage to the face warrants an inclusion. Fun fact, if you kill your opponent with Baited Arrow, you summon a 5/5 too lol.

I've been debating slotting this into Spellhunter. What did you take out?
The warrior 4/4 weapon is spectacular against many things, including all currently played hunter versions.
Used the rush warrior package to get to #300 this time around.

Helpful Clarification on Forbidden Topics for Hearthstone Forums:
Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.

Would have to see your list to make a recommendation as what to take out in order to make room for Baited Arrow.

odd mage uses it for Blast Wave. And rush warrior uses it on Akali, the Rhino and sometimes Sul'thraze if they run it
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
New taunt druid runs Oondasta
a couple of decks run Oondasta

I think this is probably the best mechanic introduced since Discover. I hope it stays around.
Baited Arrow, Oondasta, Sul'thraze all see play.
Farraki Battleaxe is really good in a deck with small minions.

Feels like an underutilized mechanic. Most of the overkill cards are pack filler. A few are decent arena cards.
I like the mechanic, I’m hoping it is used beyond RR.
The mechanic is great. Pirate Rogue can use it to a certain degree.
But the Hunter's one are great.

It's a pretty good mechanic.... Oondasta is great and a loot of decks use it
Same with the 5 cost spell for hunter
I've been having fun with rush warrior. Drawing an 8/7 zilliax is pretty decent.
