I was going to say a Priest deck that wasn't already mentioned but I guess based on all the answers you can pretty much play any Priest deck to beat Hunter.
In fact, you can just pick Priest, let the game auto-fill your deck, and say hello to free hunter wins.
So how's taunt druid against this now seeing how the wild growth nerf is making all the druid crying. Funny how two days ago, all I was seeing was druid and then yesterday rolled around I started seeing well none.
Surely they will nerf hunters at some point. They are broken right now. To the OP according to Hearthpwn it is currently 66% of the top 15 by win rate.
Hey so I have a gold The Marsh Queen card, but I haven't been able to find any decks for it that are right for me. Should I dust for Deathstalker Rexxar? I would really like to dust for Deathstalker Rexxar.

If you're F2P and don't have that much spare dust, I wouldn't really recommend crafting cards that will rotate to wild in 4 months. But if you're planning to play wild then getting rid of hunter's quest and crafting Rexxar DK is a good choice. Card is strong and fun to play.
Its actually better to run both in your spell hunter deck. Rexxar is a strong value card and will turn your deck from aggressive into control. Zul'jin is a strong tempo card that let's you make a huge turn, but that's it.
You can play spell hunter without any of them, but your winrate will be higher if at least one of them is included in your deck. In my opinion, Rexxar is still better.
I play odd aggro mage with secretkeepers, 2x counterspell and chief inspector. About 70% winrate against hunters (absolute majority are spell hunters) at ranks 9-11
Turn 1 secretkeeper is a problem for hunter. If u kirin tor + counterspell before turn 5 they have very tough time. Next turn you develop the board and deal with the wolves easily. Playing around secrets is important and Chief inspector is king
Overall your goal is to be aggressive and kill a hunter before zuljin turn. I find myself out of resources more often than not if they zuljin because of extra 5 armor and the lack of direct damage spells
Well, this is a new tempo mage deck I made yesterday. I didn't mean to counter hunter, but it's still working pretty well against them while not lacking in performance against other classes.

Shudderwock with gelatinous ooze and a chief inspector

Can I just say.......... Play Hunter? That flare though.... Lol
Currently 55% vs Hunter https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1192023-horror-of-boomship-rank5-to-legend
I've been running a Control Priest Dragon build (below) and it works wonders against Hunter.

Hey for this Spell hunter Deck, instead of Deathstalker Rexxar, can I replace him with Zul'jin?

OTK pally is autowin against secret and spell hunters. I think I never won a game against that as hunter no matter what I draw.
He's taking the Griftah thing out of context. I was mocking this thread (as I always mock premature nerf threads):
https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-game-modes/standard-format/227430-nerf-candidates
I still think Zul'jin is overrated. I mean it cancels out DK Rexxar which is the win condition against control.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Midrange Beast Hunter with Flare. That's the way to beat them.
;)
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
I'm playing OTK pally right now, would definitely not say it's auto-win.
It is one of the better decks statistically against many of the hunter decks however. Apart from that - Clone Priest, Even Pally are both good.
Odd Warrior and Odd Quest Warrior are good against some Hunter decks but poor vs others.
Hunter players are really low intelligence as a rule so just try and baffle them with cards they dont see much , plus board clears obviously
