I've been trying various versions of priest, Zerek's Cloning Gallery Priest is easily the best Priest deck right now imo, it's extremely effective against most things. I had success with quest priest but found the decks I was using too inconsistent.
I have to warn you though, that this isn't something someone would consider ladder material. I purposely run some cards (Crystalline Oracle and Shifting Shades), in order to make this a meme deck. The point of it is to annoy tryharders, while also trying to beat them. I can think of better packages - dragons (early game dominance), better deathrattle minions (Bloodmage Thalnos, Loot Hoarder, Dead Ringer + Spirit Lash against odd paladin). So if your goal is to have success on the ladder, then I would advise you to use the latter cards.
There is also a way to build an entire meme deck with Seance, Princess Talanji, Chameleos and what not. If I had Zola the Gorgon, I would used her. I also cut Mind Control, since I don't face many slow decks on the ladder, but I will make some fun changes, once I hit rank 5.
Tbh there is a "neutral tech" against kingsbane rogues in standard - Drakkari Trickster.
Back in K&C I had success with my mill warlock against this deck, becasue I ran Coldlight Oracles of my own and sped things up, until the time came to delete their win-condition with a Gnomeferatu. On paper the trickster can help you too, but you have to make sure you survive, until the rogue hits fatigue and you then can steal their weapon.
[edit] So you could add it in your odd control warrior.
Thanks Kovachut I'll try it out, my meme deck actually looks a lot like yours with Princess Talanji and more unnecessary steal cards but yours seems at least a little more ladder worthy
I'm playing noting but Odd Paladin out of spite and hatred for Kingsbane Rogue. I don't care what else demolishes me, as long as I can demolish them at every turn.
I fully expect some variant of control priest to be a T2 deck. It has so much good AOE right now, and "infinite" heal to 40 if that's what is needed. I think the metagame will need to settle a bit first, so that the priest can pick it's end game. Does it want cloning gallery? Mind Blast? Talanji?
I am slowly starting to be concerned about Topsy Priest. Glad we got Mojomaster this expansion.

Drakarri Trickster is either bugged or working as intended but you don't get a buffed Kingsbane so at the moment it's not a tech for Kingsbane unfort

LOL, really? I didn't know this - I thought some ppl were already using it as a tech.
This totally sounds like a bug to me, since there was a patch to the copy mechanic. Whenever someone copies a card from the opponent's deck, it keeps all enchantments. Trust me, in wild I stole Kingsbane countless times with Steal Priest and the blade was always buffed.

Ah no I was actually wrong, just tested this and it works. I saw a bug report on Blizz's Hearthstone forums and about someone mentioning that they thought it was bugged and believed it cuz' I hadn't seen the card played to copy a buffed card yet. That person probably didn't realize he copied the Shadow Reflection copy of Kingsbane when it got shuffled into the deck. My bad.
I don't know how the state of control priest looks like in standard after the nerfs, but in wild it's fine. I have a lot of success with my half-serious thief deck and imho control priest in general can easily handle Big Priest and Even Shaman (especially the latter deck). Against decks, which run Barnes (incl. Rogue), you have to add a Potion of Madness. Entomb/Psychic Scream are very efficient versus the majority of decks.
The only priest decks I see in wild are Big Priests and Reno, but imho quest control can easily find a spot in the tier list. You can build a more consistent deck and you won't struggle with having a bad hand unlike the other two aforementioned ones.
How important you think Anduin is in standard Priest decks in general? I really don't wanna craft anymore old cards at this point but have everything save for Lyra.
Resurrect priest seems pretty good based on a handful of games, Spiteful is fun but a little dated (is anyone running updated Spiteful decks?) in terms of its power.
I wouldn't play spiteful if I were you, since there are some really weak additions to the 8-mana (Hir'eek, the Bat) and 10-mana slots (Hakkar, the Soulflayer -> 1 mana spells).
As for the DK - he is one of the strongest DKs in the game (I would rate him as the 4th best one), but it really depends on the deck you are playing. In Mecha'thun priest e.g. I don't recall someone running it. This is mainly due to the fact, that Hemet, Jungle Hunter can't destroy it. I think that Anduin is a good craft in general, he always helped me in tough positions - he can counter Even and Cubelock, some zombeasts, odd rogue in a way. If token druid becomes popular, then this is a nice counter to the ancients. This hero card has many uses, though he is better in a control deck w/o a primary win-condition.

I didn't see your post yesterday. This is the deck I am using currently:

Going to revive the thread for a bit:

[edit] Mass Hysteria is a big buff for control.
