Hey everyone! it will be pretty short, and I would like to hear your opinions.
So in the recent time I tried my best in climbing the HS ranked ladder. The results are pretty pathetic considering I am a long time f2p player (I own all of the expansions). I mostly tried a midrange hunter deck and my own version of control warlock (which my favorite type of deck and I have a lot of experience with it, yet I wasnt able to have any sort of success). So due to those reasons I started saving my dust and I have now about 3.5k.
Now, I really want to go back to full swing in ranked and I want to try two types of decks that are looking pretty good in the current meta- Jade Druid and Cubelock/control+N'Zoth Warlock. I already own most of the cards for those archetypes of decks but I am missing the core cards for each : for Jade Druid I'm missing Aya, Fandral and the Death Knight; and for The warlock decks I am missing most of the epics (a second Voidlord, Mountain Giant, Cube and Rin).
There are very few highly consistent decks in the current meta, aside from perhaps CubeLock and Aggro Paladin currently.
Everything else suffers pretty badly. This is why these are prety much the only decks you normally see on ladder at the moment - interpersed with the occasional tryhard mage, of course.
Jade Druid still works - though it is more of a ramp-druid hybrid than it's more pure former iteration. The better version of CubeLock doesn't run the mountain giants - they are much too slow and are a liability later if you're not careful. Run the Doomsayer version if you have the Skull of the Man'ari.
Fandral isn't that necessary for Jade Druid - I ran a version without it for months before I had the dust to craft it. And in the ramp version, it doesn't use Aya either. But you will still need some big minions to hit the board with of course.
Aggro Paladin is like, really cheap to build which is why a lot of the noobs are running it currently. It's a good fallback if you don't feel like investing much thought into the game and need something to do while watching TV.

CubeLock suffers against Raza Priest. Razakus is by far the most powerful deck still. There is a reason most everyone was running it in the RatRace to kick off the year. Tempo rogue is strong to combat aggro paladin. I farmed aggro paladin with Prince rogue to get rank 5 last season. Tempo rogue also has near even matchups with Priest/Lock... so overall it's a solid meta pick.
Yup, the main consideration whether I should craft the essential legendary cards for Jade Druid is the fact that it’s going to get rotated to wild soon. Thanks!
Well frim what I have noticed the Aggro Paladin decks cost around 4-5k with at least two legendary cards that I dont own currently.
About the Razakus priest- well... if I barely have enough dust for Aggro Paladin, yeah... it’s not going to happen because it’s super expensive (although I own Kazakus) and I don’t have the priest DK and Raza himself.
Only on warlock it seems that I have enough resources to build a solid deck
It may not provide an immediate answer, but I would suggest browsing the decks currently doing well in the meta here: http://metastats.net/
You probably won't be able to afford most of them which is fine - instead, the idea is to gain some understanding of what is currently doing well and what the deck does - by working out some ideas for replacing the cards you dont have with some similar ones you do have.
Midrange Hunter is still decent for a low budget deck. It's one of those decks that always seep between the cracks so to speak. Never really meta but strong early curve can snatch surprise wins.
Come to think of it there aren't that many viable budget decks around at the moment, hunter is one of the few classes that can get to rank 5 rather quickly without any epics/legs in the deck.
Burn mage comes to mind as a close second.
Any others? I mean consistent actual budget decks.
It is a very cheap deck and powerful for low budgets. The thing is that it’s not powerful enough to equal cubelock or all the other Aggro madness.
I am still pretty confused, because crafting the the full list which I am currently lacking it’s core legendary cards (DemonLock/ Aggro Paladin etc...) is a huge investment for me

Dou you have any stats/proof about that? From what I've seen not only the giants version has a higher winrate, but has also been the choice of pro players in the most recent tournament (of those who run cubelock of course)

I would work towards building a Warlock deck. The nice thing is, you can swap a few cards, and make the deck aggressive, or more control oriented. It is also not going any time soon, unlike Raza priest.
Oh, and "why would you play doomsayer when you can just wreck the board yourself with defile and stuff"
Because the ladder is flooded with Aggro Paladins right now, and they can drop 6+ minions in a turn, and do it over and over. The more removal the better right now.

I wanna glide down, over Mulholland I wanna write her, name in the sky I wanna free fall, out into nothin' Gonna leave this, world for awhile
There is no consistent deck as the game is draw based and rng based... you just gotta hope you will mulligan luckily and draw luckily... when it comes to long games, you just need to think how to use your resources perfectly and outvalue your opponent...
Do you guys think it’s possible to switch prince taldaram for a faceless manipulator? I’m talking about the CubeLock deck btw
A word of caution: Cubelock is the deck with the most potential, but it is also one of the most difficult decks to pilot right now. You are likely to lose a LOT of games before you start seeing the win rate you are hoping for.

If you are f2p and play standard stay away from jades. Jades aren't that strong at the moment and will rotate next time.
Go for Warlock. You don't need mountain giants or Rin. Voidlord and Cube are essential though.

Indeed, I am much closer to completing the warlock collection and I have almost all of the best legendary cards

So after I noticed your thoughts what do you guys think I should do?
Should I just go ahead and try the CubeLock/DemonLock? If so, could you link me a link for a good list?
Best one I think : https://hsreplay.net/decks/z3SSlROLjuSjaNaLE5347g/
