I topped out at 4 last season. Main ladder decks since the expansion have been aggro pally, secret mage, and big priest. would like to use control warlock but i dont have the dust for the epic/legends i need. played a little yesterday and struggled to maintain 50% in the new month chaos. havent hit legend yet, been playing casually for a couple years. would love to finally put that feather in my cap.
Only started playing Hearthstone regularly last November and haven't taken Ranked that serious, only trying for rank 20-18. My plan is to try for rank 14, so I start at rank 20 next season and with only my own decks :)
Well.. since I usually take too long to grind the cards from new expansions the Legend dream will probably come after March's rotation, once i disenchanted the cycled cards (I know... it is really sad to give up my collection and feel the void when I need them for brawls and adventures in the future) =(
Im usually too busy with life or other games to make a run towards legend. Best I ever got was 5. I just get to 20 get my back do my quests then log off for the day.
This month, I think im going to try again. I always wanted to be a Legend. Time to show up or shut up.
Well, this is the worst thing a F2P can do except if you wish to attend tournaments regularly.
I really agree with you, but i just can't see myself keeping up in wild, standard seems to be less soul crushing long term since wild decks tends to become even stronger each exp.
I hope to reach Legend one day, been playing for a year now but minimal, just for the daily quests. Ranked play is so weird some days you get 10 win streak and other days 10 lose streak with same deck.. I usually reach rank 11-12
Good luck and have fun everyone!

The day that you stop running is the day that you arrive.
same happened to me, m you need to pay attention to the games and the meta tiers for the day
in NA from December 28 to 31 50% of games were against agro paladin, the worst match up is vs agro druid. I was using spitedragon priest and it got recked so much went from rank 3 to 5
i then used agro druid and reached legend in 1 day
you need to use the counter deck to tier 1 most used deck the meta changes alot from day to day good luck this month
I just got into rank last season and i peaked 13 using spell hunter. How far can I climb with this and what other decks should I try. I got Aluneth and Manari but I dont have the epics for warlock.
Once again im trying to get to my first legend. Will I have the time? Do the meta change? What class will I be playing?
The answer to all these and more to come! Stay Tuned!!!
After a long time wandering the desolated rank 15 trying out different paths to no avail the right path towards rank 10 was found. It did not come easy, lead astray by the promise of the hunt, holy powers, and demonic forces; I finally found the righteous path and the journey went forward. The matches were many, but with luck and skill (and a tier 1 deck), I withstod the other players, climbing the ladder. Time went on, the similarity of decks grew eerie. But in the darkest hour, when the streak was over, I found a friend. A shaman had climbed the ladder with a most peculiar deck. Could it be? Yes it was indeed, a rare sight in Hearthstone, a fun match. And even though I lost, the experience fuel the fire to go on, grinding the last little step to rank 10.
The journey continues, many steppes are still to be taken up the ladder, the competition becomes more fierce and unforgiven. Will I prevail? Stay Tuned!!!
I am currently playing my own version of Control Warlock. Currently on a winstreak from rank 20 to 13 without any losses. I played against Razakus Priest, Aggro Pally, Recruit Druid, Tempo Rogue (who btw was high rolling all over the place), Face Hunter, Minon-less Hunter, Jade Druid, Cubelock, Big Priest and Archivist Priest - no losses in any games yet.
I have made some minor tweaks between the games where I struggled and feel that I currently have it almost optimized for my playstyle. I have still to play against Quest Mage who I think will steamroll the deck, but aggro is keeping that in check I guess :D
I decided to comprise a list of how to go from rank 17-20 to legend in 1 week. I spent ages trying to figure out the ultimate rule to help casual and even regular legend players climb the ladder quickly, and easily.
I spent a long time trying to figure out the right deck, combination of cards and strategy for that quick ladder climb. So without further ado, pay attention to the following and study it carefully!
1. Click on "New Deck"
2. Click on paladin
3. Click Custom deck
Now for the important parts, pay careful attention.
Got to rank 1 with 2 stars last season using Secret mage, then my luck runs out for the final push. Faced Cubelock (lifegain everyday), Aggro Pally and Highlander Priest. Maybe I'll just use aggro pally/druid this season and try my luck again.
Our second season of Standard for Kobolds and Catacombs!
Once again im trying to get to my first legend.

Got stuck at 3 last season so trying for legend this time.
Aggro Paladin (taunt variant).
Rank 14, on a streak currently.
Tempo Rogue...

Homebrew Handlock Revival lol
Tempo rogue seems really legit if you an pilot it. rank 18 to 10 only two losses to aggro paladin and one against cube lock.

Went to 15 yesterday and planned to get 10 today.. somehow got stuck on 15 all day.. sadly.
Well I suppose if I reach five by 15th I'll be fine
I’m playing StanCifkas Giant Quest Mage. It’s a bit bonkers but I’ve been shocked by the win rate so far.
Aggro Paladin is a tough match up but you’re 50-50 against Warlock and the Priest matches are a gimme.
Lovely streak to rank 13 to kick off the season and different enough to keep the game fresh

Hit 10 just now. What do you guys say.. feels like I'm on a good timetable.
Plan to get 5 by the 10. or 11.of January.
First time I try it. Closest one was rank 2 so far. But there i arrived at 5 on 25th and just went a bit further for fun
