Don't like the theme of it. I never liked Karazhan in WoW. LoE was awesome thematically and so was BrM. I loved BWL and MC in WoW.
Don't think I'm going to buy this. Theme is everything for me. But if the cards turn out to be necessary (like many adventure cards do) then I will probably have to buy it to be competitive in future meta's.
My personal opinion is that nothing in Hearthstone is worth real money, you can have a perfectly fun experience for free, because you get enough gold and enough packs for free that you can get a decent enough collection to play competetively, or just make fun decks if thats your thing. But, I think that there are a lot of nice cards in this adventure that will genuinely impact competetive play, mostly in the first three wings.
If you were willing to spend money on blackrock, you will probably be safe spending it on this, if you could not quite bring yourself to spend money on LoE then maybe just save up gold if you want the wings later.
I am just excited because I will get 15 or so hours of play purely from the adventure. considering the cost of your average triple A title and their average length I would say that it is not worth the money purely for that but it comes close.
But hey, what do I know, I'm just some kid.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
The Druid cards are all I care for. The Moonglade Portal alongside the Menagerie Warden with Beast synergy is what I'm dying to try out. Druid needs a new life after Combo was gutted. And it sure ain't Tokens.
Will buy, but if you really think about it, this is the first Adventure that's not worth the money or the gold. Almost every card they showed is garbage or uninspired or even downright insulting like Pompous Thespian. All Adventures brought a lot of change or something exciting to the meta; like Reno, this one won't change a damn thing.
let me tell you something my friend. before karazhan was officially released but we knew about the rumours, I saved up a lot of gold. from zero to 1400 in fact. well Once all the cards were released I was like DAMN. THese cards SUCK. so I said to hell with it and bought 14 packs
I'm now at 940 Gold cuz I didn't start saving earlier... Actually, 5 decent legendaries plus few good cards plus the epic advanture gameplay are worth 20$... but, since I'm on a ftp account from the start, I'll hold on to my money and gold and wait to see if my favorite classes which are ( hunter , warlock , warrior and Freez Mage ) get new competitive archtypes or at least a boost to the underrated ones, like what we got when Reno / Thaurissan came out, and not just a bunch of scam replacement cards ...
i think you should by Karazahn, but it shouldnt be on your top priority list. Classic Packs and Wog are more important atm. And you can try your luck in arena. If you are new: Watch streamers and/or use Heartharena to help you draft :) GL

The Curator and Barnes make me buy (with gold) this adventure.
