Just thought I'd make a fun little thread to see what the community's overall favorite card set is, for what ever reason really. Personally I like GvG because mechs are cool, and good old *cough* Dr. Boom *cough*.
I voted Ungoro, not because of the cards themselves, I don't have a Legendary card in the set that made me go "wow", but because of the variety of decks that we've seen for almost all of the 4 months since its release.
GvG, no question. Mechs were awesome, and a lot of the Legendaries were really cool. It's a shame that Mechs as a tribe basically went out the window when the set rotated to Wild; I wonder/fear if Elementals will face a similar fate, when Un'goro leaves Standard.
My second place definitely goes to Un'goro, though: a similarly wonderful set.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
KotFT is my favorite so far. It looks like Blizzard finally realized that if they want to keep this game alive, you need to add some complexity to the game. Take a look at Valeera the Hollow. Something like that would never have existed three expansions ago. Similarly, the META is slower than ever which I personally like. Although it's still out there, I don't get smashed in the face by Patches the Pirate every other game. At least we can get to turn 10 reliably. One final thing I like is less dependency on RNG. While it's still implemented, there was a point in Hearthstone where it was simply too much. I like when RNG shines in some games, that's what makes Hearthstone so unique. However, WotOG had way too much of it and it was hard to win games when Yogg-Saron, Hope's End would just end your game after you've established a board because of sheer luck.
Probably didn't include it because it's not technically an Expansion; it's an Adventure :P

You also forgot my two favorite expansions: League of Explorers aka Reno Jackson meta. I miss a lot LoE legendaries... Brann Bronzebeard is so well designed.
And Blackrock Mountain because I really like Thaurissan and the metagame which was basically Patron Warrior, one of the most fun and overpowered decks ever in HS.
Whispers of the Old Gods. The rng was insane and it made highlight videos glorious. I truly miss twitch chat every time Justicar Trueheart or C'thun cards were played.
I really liked Journey to Un'Goro but i voted for Whispers of the Old Gods, because it was easier to collect all the needed cards. Un'Goro was/is great, but it was very dust intense. If they would give you more free stuff it would be my fav.. so Old Gods it is!
Knights of the Frozen Throne seems good so far... but it is very early and i cant tell how it will end up. The over all card quality seems low if i compare it to Un'Goro if you leave the deathknights and the Lich King out...so it seems like a Legendary addon to be, because 50% of the cards that are good are legendarys (that might be a overstatement... but i think you guys get where iam going here)
Compared to Frozen Throne i somehow even like Mean Streets of Gadgetzan more, because even with the Jades beeing so dominat in the meta...it still was somehow easy to get your cards together. One jade set let you play 2 classes very well... in Frozen Throne it seems that you need THAT ONE class Death Knight to play THAT ONE class.
The Grand Tournament is the best expansion you fools!
Kappa.

Ahh yes, we've been expecting you. You'll have to be recorded before you're officially released. There are a few ways we can do this, and the choice is yours. See my submission to the WCDC hereand upvote if you like it. WCDC 8.3
It's only been 3 days but KOFT is a strong contender, I'm having such a blast right now. Overall, however, LOE was my favorite, both the missions and the cards.
KFT hands down. This expansion brought us an overwhelming amount of tools and strategies to play with. On top of that, it slowed the game down quite a bit. Seems like 70%+ of the ladder right now is slower decks.
I for it boiled down to this; including Adventures
Naxrammus had the most fun cards, but only if you were playing them. Some of them were full on broken or extremely irratating to have to bash your head through.
GvG did more of the same. Really fun cards for those play them, but this time I they realised they needed to curb the power level of some cards. Cards were dying, and coming back almost exactly the same stat-wise (Piloted Shredder) and things got far too sticky.
BlackRock mountain was the breaker. Things started to get nerfed quickly, others things like Patron warrior weren't overly OP, but users just made the game too stagnant for them to leave it alone. Loved the dragon cards though.
TGT was more my least favourite by far. Boring mechanics and bad archetypes which barely worked, thereby making everyone just keep using their OP pre-expansion decks.
WoToG was probably my fave expansion to date. Fantastically flavorful decks with a large assortment to choose from. Evolve Shaman was my fave even though it wasn't a top tier deck.
League of Explorers, where to begin. The adventure for this set was probably the best one to date, but the cards were terrible. Apart from Reno, all they seemed to do was foster absurdly aggro decks, and saw the rise of the cancer that was Aggro overload Shaman.
MSoG. Meh, all I can say. Some of the decks just flat our didn't work at the time, and Jade druid proceeded to crush everyone. My highlight was Control Priest.
Karazhan. Hated, barely playable, and Adventure was terrible. Probably my least fave add-on in HS.
Ungoro, an oddity. I hattttted this expansion's premise, but for no real reason. Perhaps it was just the boring setting. This had the largest amount of deck archetypes I've ever seen in HS; reeeally good control meta. Quests were meh imo. Also the annoyance of Quest rogue really spoilt the affair for a lot of people.
KoTFT. So far, I'm really liking the flavor of this one. Reeeally powerful decks so far. Some of the decks feel super streamlined, and whoever gets the ramp best wins, especially with the stronger Death Knights. We'll have to see how the meta pans out.
Btw when will you be able to buy gvg packs? Guess i could give it a go after all these years.
Right now, in fact, but it must be with real money, in the client shop outside of the Hearthstone. The same is true of all the Wild sets and Adventures: they are available...just not in-game.

The one you didn't include, Naxramas. :)
I think Un'Goro felt fresher than the cards it introduced actually were, simply because we lost some very oppressive sets that rotated out.

Un'Goro was good because if the transition, but Knights is definitely better imo.

Un'Goro forever stole my heart.
Best expansion: WoToG
Best adventure: LoE
Worst expansion: GvG, i hated it because you couldn't beat it without joining it. So i quit, came back when it rotated out.
Btw when will you be able to buy gvg packs? Guess i could give it a go after all these years.
Question everything.
