Now that the nerfs are in and I would assume alot of deck wont really need to deal with the Giggler anymore. We will probably see blood knight and mossy go away. I play alot of Even Warlock and Deathrattle. Do I trade for black knight now or something else to fit?
The Black Knight was always a decent tempo card, but for most decks, it just wasnt good enough. I would imagine that the place of Mossy Horror will not take another tech card - at least not the same tech card run in every deck - but rather a card that will fill a certain purpose for each deck, and that can be anything.
Leads me to think that he will still see a lot of play due to Spreading Plague but i still dont want to keep just 1 card for 1 class. I am sitting at rank 9 and feel from rank 6. Looking to climb but want a valid option to keep climbing once the nerf officially hits. Potentially another Skulking Geist or add a Siphon Soul
I mean I probably dont want to do that at all cause you really only need 1, but finding one quicker vs warrior and druid, and at times hunter ups your win % very quickly I have found because you're not getting shield slammed etc etc.
Not a bad idea. I could definitely see The Black Knight as a replacement for him. I play Even Warlock myself and will definitely try it instead of Mossy Horror now.
well considering druid received zero nerfs (LUL btw) I think you'll still wanna be running mossy to deal with spreading plague as I only see druid getting even stronger now, I still can't believe they didn't nerf a single druid card for standard. lol

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
Let's see how the meta turns out to be. I think it's way too early to predict if we will need The Black Knight against taunts or e.g. Mind Control Tech against minion centered decks, or sth else. Wait the first 24-48 hours after the patch hits and decide for yourself.
I remember how people used to run TBK just to counter The Lich King and minions targeted by Bonemare back in KOFT. I don't deny, that this will be a great tech against evenlock and maybe taunt druid, but we have to see if board flooding decks will become more popular than the mid-range ones.
I played a lot of Even Warlock myself in Witchwood, switched to Token Druid with Boomsday. Not sure if that deck can really go back to Violet Teacher now, but different story...
The Black Knight was a good inclusion in Witchwood, because Taunt Warrior and Taunt Druid were much more popular than they are right now and probably will be after the patch. The Lich King also used to be more popular. Nobody feels like using Taunt Warrior anymore when Odd is mostly better, and few play Taunt Druid when there are so many better options.
I don't know how it is for Deathrattle Hunter. But since you have the synergy with your Eggs and make Druid much easier to handle, Mossy Horror is probably still the card to go with.
If you are playing a deck that has room for a tech slot now because you want to cut mossy, put in something just as good like geist. Black knight is OK to consider but there aren't a lot of great taunts really being played in the current meta. Maybe that will change now that giggles is seemingly nerfed to orbit, but realistically the opponents might be teching something else too that isn't a taunt so we might just have to wait and see what is best to play.
Mossy is still good for sure and can reasonably be considered, especially where Spreading Plague is still so prevalent in standard. I wouldn't say cut mossy just because no more giggles.
My gut reaction is to say just play another MC tech or go back to Spellbreaker, two cards that have always and will always be good.
Depends on the deck. I think DR Hunter will still play mossy. A lot of the time they cube their egg and when it pops/they play dead it, they can play mossy for two 5/5s. It's also a nice way for them dealing with wide token / spreading plague boards since they lack aoe and need to pressure before those decks before the late game.
Secret hunter might keep it just because plague is pretty nightmarish for that deck.
Evenlock probably drops it. The spreading plague token kills are nice but evenlock has so many big dudes and doesn't go that wide so just dropping a dread infernal so the tokens die to your 4 attack minions is probably plenty, and that is another for the demon pool. If you don't already have Giest in that deck then you probably should, it kills so many big cards for popular decks like DR Hunter, all Druids, Odd Warriors, etc. Some lists already run Black Knight and it's pretty good. Bonemare is pretty good for extra reach when you're the aggressor and for a thicc taunt when you're defending.
Mossy Horror still has some amazing tech usage - in particular against druids with Spreading Plague, etc. It wasn't there for Giggling Inventor alone. There's lots of cards that it counters.
And it's also used proactively as an activator for blowing up your eggs when you run out of deathrattle triggers as Death Hunter / Death Rogue.
Blood Knight is definitely a card that will likely see a lot less play since people were teching that in specifically for Giggling Inventor. And possibly to a small degree for Odd Paladin, but I remember that Odd Pally became hugely less popular when Giggling InNventor arrived both because of the big tempo loss and the addition of Blood Knight as tech.
I am vaguely worried that it might get a resurgence again now that those two cards are disappearing. That's rather troubling since it is a horrible deck. Can't remember how it stacks up against Zoolock and Odd Rogue though...

I like waffles, and peanut butter.
I like the run Arcane Dynamo myself ;)
Mossy was a tech card, the spot in the deck is very flexible. If you feel TBK gives you good value, then add him.

Dread Infernal , Skulking Geist or Bonemare are viable replacement in Evenlock
For Deathrattle Hunter maybe an other beast instead.

Mossy Horror still deals with Spreading Plague or Soul of the Forest, and can hit Odd Paladin and Even Shaman badly, but it's potentially a super dead card against Hunters. I still think it makes for a better tech choice than The Black Knight at the moment, but then, Skulking Geist might be even better once the Inventor is out. Spreading Plague is not really the bane of Evenlock, but Naturalize is, and Lesser Jasper Spellstone and Play Dead can also hurt a lot, and likely won't go away either.

Because we all know that a 6 cost tech card MUST be replaced with another 6 cost tech card.
