Hey guys and girls, I'm Nate and new to this forum. Here is my first attempt to put together some interesting mechanics I like and HearthStone can have in the future then call it an expansion heh. Notice that NOT all of the cards are my creation, I do not claim to be the owner of any artworks or images, I just want to put them out there as an appreciation thread more than anything else. Feel free to comment, hope you all enjoy it.
Expansion details: 65 Neutral cards (26 Common, 16 Rare, 11 Epic, 12 Legendary) 5 Class cards (1 Common, 2 Rare, 1 Epic, 1 Legendary) 2 New Classes (Sea Witch class, Shadow hunter/Troll class) An up coming third class.
Working on: -A 3rd class "Titan" or "Blood Mage" (Or both). -rework ideas on legendary: azshara,nazjar(naga) and zuljin(troll) etc. - more balance changes.
Change log: -8th July- Troll class added, quick balanced some of the neutral cards, new better art for a lot of minions. -18th July- Titan class Basic set added, 5th pic legendary initial balances then 2-5th quick balanced.

Edit 1. Reformatted to fit more into blizzard class design framework (its more obvious that Naga class plays around swap Attack and Health with Replenished mechanics). Most Naga minions have changed art.

Shadow Hunter (Troll) Class: Minion oriented and an attempt to incorporate mill mechanic in this class.

Basically a minion can have +2/+2 and Regenerate at max.
From lore I found, trolls almost won The Troll War against highborne because of their innate power of regenerate.

Note1: Mill mechanic in the class may rework in the future.
Edit1. Reworked: Ogoun Hex(Trying to make it more rewarding but still challenged in control play), Jungle lotus(Sort of a weird avenging wrath now) and Hakkar's Tournment (Now it mill empty hand rather than a control deck)

Third Class: Titan Mini Lore: Aesir'vanir is an earthen serving the Pantheon, his intention is one day to become a Pantheon and finish their work on Azeroth.
I'm speechless at the amount of work this has taken - Even if you din't do it all yourself, it must have taken quite a bit of effort gathering all the information :-) Kudo's!
A few of the cards are a bit strong though. Also i'm wondering, what does Replenish require to activate? I might have missed it, but i din't see it specified anywhere :-)
Edit: I particularly like the "If your hero takes damage, this minion gains damage" cards. Awesome stuff for countering face decks :D GIMME GIMME
Edit2: Not too fond of the name of the expansion. Maybe Legacy of the Depth's or something. Legacy of the Origin sounds.. wierd.
Sorry for the late upload about the replenish mechanic explanation. Its sort of like battlecry, but if you swap the attack and health of the minion it will regain the power, some will have permanent power some won't.
Countering face deck is one of the major theme (hence the options for healing from minions), I want that "If your hero takes damage, this minion gain damage" mechanic in the official game too xD
About the name, because the more I read about the lore, the more I realise troll, highborne, etc have a lot more history before all these orc and human/ goblin and gnome stories. But you are right too, this is more about the deepsea hehe, I will rethink the possibility of the name you suggested. Thanks :)

I totally get you with the whole Highborne/Naga lore being very old and stuffs - Although Nightelves/Bloodelves are kinda from the same place as Naga's ;-) But most people don't know that, and aren't realy that familiar with the Warcraft lore - at least the old old stuffs. I think most people would be like "How is this the origin of orcs/humies? :o"
haha yea, and sadly lore writer will almost always neglect the the genetic origin of all the races in wow, but in our reality human genome data isnt that special of a thing, we human arent the most complex nor the most unique organic being in the universe. I get why human ego deluded us into thinking we are special and we fight orcs for glory but well it just some stories try to be popular and have some fun.
I wasn't a fan of a lot of the Neutral cards, but I thought almost all of the class cards (the legendaries specifically) were fairly realistic, and quite good. I admire the dedication, here.
Thanks for the honestly :) Well GvG does has alot of controversal card that is favorable to certain classes, you can quickly tell which cards are at the competitive level very quickly if you play the game for a while (imo druid are pretty bad in GvG), its just tournament and the esport scene make GvG seems legit.
As for the neutral cards, I agree the power level are way above GvG, but I am not selling packs here (lol) i just put down all the random thoughts the moment I look at the art, you can tell I am doing this mostly just want to put some cool art together for some pleasure in the eyes, well at least mine heh.
Plus I dont yet have the actual engine to balance the whole expansion realistically, so its more fun to just post it like so as a concept rather than trying hard to be popular. (If there are time in the future i may revisit all the neutral card and balance them properly.)

Dude this is so sick... Blizzard should have a look at this :p! Some of the cards are slightly overpowered but if Blizzard wants to have this for free would you do it?
Thanks for the compliment heh. And well, I don't mind for sure. If they are going to implement anything here its all fine by me, as long as Hearthstone is growing and moving forward. I am just throwing out some fun mechanics Hearthstone engine can have.

Are you serious? I think others were fine, but especially class legs, especially warlock's, were totally too OP.
But excellent work, 1st page for example had only 2 unbalanced cards, much better most players could do.
