can anyone explain me how to beat Ice Block? So many times the mage has something around 10-15 HP and i could lethal him with Grom'bo, but i know Ice Block is on. So what should I do here? I know the best thing to do vs. it is to leave the guy at 1 hp, but that is very unlikely, say they have 13 HP, you Bite their face they go 9, Grom hits for 10 they stay at 9. Now this turn they have free giants, taunts, copy board gimmicks and shit, and probably another Ice Block. They remove Grom and now you're fucked. What do we do here? And even if we pray for a good Brawl, since they copied their whole board, they'll just drop it all next turn past Brawl.
How are you guys countering this? I don't know if I'm playing too afraid of it, most of the times I just leave the Mage at 10-15 hp without pulling Grom'bo but for every creature I put on the board in an attempt to lower them, they have an answer (Polymorph, Twilight Drakes, Blizzard, Doomsayer, Flamestrike), so I just wave at my big minions getting dealt with knowing if it weren't for this secret I'd be in queue for a nother match already.
What do I do? I'm sitting at ranks 5-4, playing standard Control Warrior. Thanks guys.
Pile up as much damage as you can before the Mage can get their defenses set up. Never "leave them around" a particular health.
Dr. Boom is a nice present to leave on the board if you have them super low. If the Boom Bots die on the Mage's turn and hit face, the Secret doesn't trigger.

I like to keep a Kezan Mystic in the deck. I don't know how many times its helped me. Love that card...
But it's a dead card against other matchups, no? But I could consider that...
Helps against Hunter as well!
