Nope, I like to have fun. Playing that deck and playing against that deck is not fun. Hence, cancer.
Again, as I mentioned 10000 times before. I careless about how much fun my opponent is having. I want them to lose, I want them to rage. I want to win. This game is competition. If you are not wanting to win, stay in casual. I play this deck because I enjoy winning, a lot. Also enjoy when the opponent adds me and starts complaining. That is fun, shows how immature a person can truly be.

These are the replacements I suggest, -1 Gorehowl +1 Genzo, the Shark because as a pirate warrior you tend to run out of cards quickly and having a 4 cost minion 5/4 can be pretty deadly -1 Ravaging +1 Leeroy, good replacement for Gorehowl. You made mention how you go to the face usually with Gorehowl. Why not do that sooner with Leeroy?

Being cancer and all, there's something good about pee-rate warrior - it's probably the only one deck with zero RNG. Still dull as duck if you ask me.
Do you consider Mad Scientist real RNG? That is basically the only RNG you can pick at in a Wild Freeze Mage. ( I know nowadays people play Glyth, but I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would add RNG to Freeze Mage when it doesn't need it, I don't like Glyth if you can avoid it.) Asking this because you are clearly talking about Standard Pirate Warrior, Wild has Ship's Cannon, Finley, and such.
By "RNG" i meant bunch of cards which get other cards which aren't initially in your deck :D
And yes, agree on the freeze mage being non-random too.

If that is your definition of "fun" you must be a real blast to play party games with.

Oh you meant card generating cards, which tend to be random cards. RNG also applies to random outcomes from the cards, like where Knife Juggles hit, or if Mad Scientist pulls an Ice Barrier or Block (although you can control that if you play the other secret previously), or Animal Companion summoning a random of the 3 beasts.

This isn't a party game, troll. This is a game to be the best. It is a solo championship game. Not team based. Even if i played as a pro and I am playing against my very own teammate, I would see them as an enemy during the fight but right after i will congratulate them. Also, try to bring something "to the table" before posting something. your post was not insightful at all. Best of luck to you

Actually... Hum, it's kind of hard to argue this is not a party game. Blizzard does their best to introduce as much RNG into the games as possible, and that is unacceptable from a competitive standpoint. It's hard to be the best when you can randomly lose for random outcomes. Sure, you can consistently get wins, but all it takes is a couple of lucky strikes from your opponent during 3 games in a tournament match and you are out... But then again, just because I'm fed up with RNG and don't want to compete anymore, don't let me discourage you from going for it, Good luck!
Haha you are correct in that, people who seem to win by RNG and top decking.... UGH but when I think of party games, I think of Mario Kart or heck even Call of Duty, a place where you can have constant communication with people around you and you are playing with multiple people not just one. A party is a gathering of people... when 2 people are participating in a "fight" its considered a duel.
This is a game to be the best. It is a solo championship game.
That's one point of view. I'd say hearthstone became what blizzard wanted it to became - a casual game for children, where outcome of the match is mostly decided by rngesus. Too far away from "competitive" if you ask me.

Wow, so aggressive! Fair enough, I will "bring something to the table." You have made your motivations, intentions and game play very clear in that you consider every match to be a fight to the death, a "solo championship game". That is your right to play that way, and to be honest if that is your end-game/reason to play, pirate warrior is an efficient deck that does just that: quick games meant to kill the opponent as quick and efficiently as possible. But what you need to understand is that not everyone has that same game-play mentality. Some people like to play this game differently and enjoy playing longer games with back-and-forth gameplay, momentum swings, value creation, etc. Some people play this game and enjoy seeing fun combos, unique strategies, creative card interactions and will even value that more than winning a game.
Hence the hate for pirate warrior - as the two different game play styles, and often game goals come to clash. One player is in it to win quickly (which could be considered a form of domination which the player enjoys) and move on to the next game, where as another player is looking to enjoy the game they are playing, which typically involves being able to play or at least draw and have a chance to play half of their deck (which is near-impossible against a PW going face).
My comment that you must be a blast to play party games with was just an observation that if we were at a party and were playing some game like pictionary, that the Win at-all-costs, my opponent is my enemy mentality is a real drip to the party. You may think that this is a bad example, but if you were trying out a new creative build in casual and happen to run into 3 pirate warriors in a row (this has happened to me) you would feel that your opponents are a real drip to what could be a fun game.
I hope you bring your same game-play mentality to debates as you do the game in that you may argue against an opinion/opponent during the debate, but once it is over step back and congratulate them with honor, as I am just trying to present an opinion of game play that differs from yours.
My comment that you must be a blast to play party games with was just an observation ...
It was also a snide personal attack, which, one could posit, isn't the most appropriate party behavior, either.
You ask/demand that he be considerate of other people's motivations, then you come back with this judgmental quip (that's not even remotely relevant), with the implication that his motivation is inferior to others'.
If you are honestly testing a creative build, you need to know how it performs against aggressive decks. If, on the other hand, you are just goofing around and want to have fun without worrying about running into popular decks, you need to create a friend group where you can establish ground rules such as "no Pirates." It is not the job of random strangers to avoid playing decks you personally find distasteful.
I personally don't like Pirate Warrior at all, and would be glad to see it out of the meta. But I dislike your argument even more. My beef with it is the poorly balanced design of the Warrior class as a whole.
I never implied his motivation/game play is inferior to others, just that everyone doesn't share that same style which results in the hate for PW.
I agree that it is not the job of random strangers to avoid playing decks I personally find distasteful, and even commented that PW works well if their style is to win quickly and dominantly. However, I do think that casual was intended to be a place to encourage deck testing and improving game play. You shouldn't have to play solely with friends to try out new things. Many people also play quests in casual and I understand the frustration they feel if the game is determined by turn 3 and they don't even get a chance to test their deck strategy or try out new cards. I have played hearthstone since inception and can say that there were never any decks that give the opponent less turns on average than PW.
"But I dislike your argument even more" is this referencing my analogy or my argument that there are different attitudes towards game play?
If it was referencing my analogy I completely understand, as it was not meant to perfectly illustrate the idea rather it was top of mind as I had just been at a party where someone was taking a game way to seriously which resulted in the game ending early as everyone just stopped playing. And yes - the original comment was a comical quip at the type of person who only has fun if they win and not necessarily with the experience of the game itself. Was it out-of-line, yes a bit, but it was only referencing the comment in which he says he plays and wants the opponent to lose and to rage, implying he gets joy out of other's frustration.
So... I have started playing Pirate Warrior again.... Have people just forgot how OP they are? I have moved from rank 20 to rank 10 with 0 loses. Lots of quest rogues and aggro hunters. Played against a few Aggro Locks and and Quest Warriors but they didnt seem to stand a chance.
yo, im stuck at rank 10 eu, have you had any progress with your deck?
I havent played it this season. I switch it up each season. I am still seeing people run pirate decks but not as often. I am rank 12 right now and all i see are evolution shamans...
Hopefully it drops in power level significantly in KotFT. It's best matchups are decks that have limited heal like Rogue. If those classes get powerful life steal effects, the number of good matchups PW has drops, less people play it. We should see alot less burn mage next expansion as well. It really just depends on Blizzard giving us good heals. Even a Cold Blood effect that has lifesteal effects in rogue could be enough to beat pirate warrior more often while not hurting other matchups.

I think with all of the life steal cards, it will be knocked down a good bit. Pirates are destroying the ladder right now.

So anyways, RNG sucks and I understand haha
