Raging Worgen works so much better than Grotesque Dragonhawk. The lower mana cost allows the combo to be pulled off much more consistently.
Raging Worgen is NOT better than dragonhawk. Worgen requires more cards for its damage output to be as high and it's absolutely terrible if you only have it + Charge in your hand while this is not. They have benefits that separate them.

I'm here to kick ass and play cards, and I'm all out of ass.
I'd really like to know how you expect to beat control warriors and freeze mages with a combo deck. Even if this was a good combo you get rolled by what should be a very popular control deck (freeze mage) and more than likely any tempo decks that kill you before drawing what you need. Also taunts are everywhere in most classes now so you'd need a lot more removal and you can't run that without losing draw.
Control Warrior is really bad matchup for any Patron deck, as are other heavy control oriented decks (and we will probably see a lot of them in WoG) but Freeze Mage is tricky. You can stack a ton of armor with Armorsmiths + board of Patrons and fatugie them. You got 2 executes and they have like 3 minions you have to deal will, Archmage, Alex and Emperor. It's just different playstyle. You loose only if they got really good Emperor into Antonidas.
lol thats a very asinine comment. Druid which had a 14 dmg 2 card combo lead the meta for 2 years. People are always going to look to play decks like this because they are proven to be way to strong. New players don't expect the combo so you can get through ranks 20-10 really quickly, and then because its patron, its obnoxious vs a majority of the meta.
Asinine? I said people are desperate for such decks in a thread where you are posting such a deck.
Anyway, the existence of the OTK play style doesn't mean people can't dislike it. I dislike it. Ben Brode does also. But while many of the nerfs made recently attempt to frustrate OTK decks people, as I said, will desperately look for ways to preserve it.

you called it a gimmick otk, you didn't say just people were desperate. this is not a gimmick otk deck, unless you think FoN + SR was a gimmick?
i'm basically stating that i feel dragonhawk charge will just be a new meta tool
I think it's a sleeper because the stat line is bad so it doesn't have obvious synergy with anything. The main issue is in order to run Dragonhawk you need to be running charge. I still think the combo is solid since its 14 for 2 cards, which is better than Grom + Cruel. Those two cards are bad on their own though while grom and cruel are strong alone.
If reno warrior becomes a thing then this combo should be in it somewhere. So in that regard it could become a meta tool.

You cannot compare these two combos at all! Let me explain
1. Yes, on an empty board they both do 14 dmg, but the one more mana is important in Hearthstone.
2. FoN+SR increases its strength for each other minion you have in play, Hawk + Charge does not.
3. You can spread the damage of FoN+SR between 4 targets, where you with Hawk + Charge might not even be able to split it between two. So FoN+SR has a lot easier time getting past taunts.
4. The damage limit with thaursan is way higher with FoN+SR than just 30. FoN(5)+FoN(5)+Inervate+Inervate+SR(2)+SR(2) which gives you 40dmg on an empty board.
5. FoN and SR are both playble cards on their own, and can help you remove some threads to give you an extra turn. Where Hawk and Charge are both trash tier, on their own.
